Create quote working document
In this screen you to create a Quote working document for the bid contract.
Click the hyperlinked ‘Pending’ in the Quote Working Doc. # field in the “Contract Details” tab of the “Manage Sale Contract” activity under the “Sale Contract” business component.
The system displays the following fields:
Ref. Doc. Type |
The type of the contract which is Bid. |
Ref. Doc. # |
The number identifying the bid contract. |
Enter the following fields:
Date |
Indicates the current system date at which Quote Working document is created. Mandatory |
The system displays the following fields:
Customer Info. |
Indicates the type of the customer which could be 'Prospect' or 'Customer' as in the bid contract along with the prospect ID / customer ID as applicable. |
Customer Name |
Indicates the name of the customer or prospect. |
Request For |
Indicates the value by concatenating ‘Request type - Object Applicability - Request for' from the request document against which bid contract is created. |
Request # |
Indicates the corresponding Bid Request number concatenated with 'Rev. #' using '/' for which Bid Contract is created. |
Request Date |
Indicates the request document date against which the bid contract is created |
Request Details |
Indicates the 'Object' and 'Workscope' combination in Bid contract for which quote working document is created. If there are more than one combination, field displays the value with first Object-Workscope combination + ‘n’ more. |
Enter the following fields:
Purpose |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the purpose of Quote Working document. The system lists all the active category codes for the Category Type 'Quote Working Purpose' as defined in the 'Maintain Category Codes' activity of the 'Category' business component. By default the system leaves this field blank. |
User Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the user. The system lists all the active category codes for the Category Type 'Quote Working User Status' as defined in the 'Maintain Category Codes' activity in the Category' business component. By default the system leaves this field blank. |
Category |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the category to which the Quote working document belongs. Mandatory. The system lists all the active category codes for the Category Type 'Quote Working Category' in the “Maintain Category Codes' activity of the “Category' business component. By default the system leaves this field blank. |
Doc. Desc. |
Any user specific description about the Quote Working document can be entered. |
