This page allows you to specify the storage details such as the zone number and the bin number from where the requested part can be shipped. You can also specify the serial number and the lot number of the part. Storage details are allowed only for the pack slips that are in the “Fresh” status with the picking strategy set as “Manual”. . You can also modify the quantity details of the parts

The “Edit Storage Details” page appears.

Note: You can enter the storage details of the pack slip, only if the “Picking Strategy” of the part is set as “Manual”.

The system displays the following:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component by default.

The system displays the following in the “Pack Slip Details” group box:

Pack Slip #

The number identifying the pack slip for which the storage details must be specified.

Pack Slip Date

The date of creation of the pack slip.

The system displays the following in the “Customer Information” group box:

Customer #

The number identifying the customer to whom the part is shipped.

Customer Name

The name of the customer.

Line #

Use the drop-down list box to select the line number of the pack slip for which the storage details must be specified.

Note: The system retrieves only those line numbers for which the “Picking strategy” is set as “Manual” in the main page.

The system displays the following:

Warehouse #

The number identifying the warehouse. where the part is stored

Warehouse Description

The textual description of the warehouse.

Zoom facility available.

Part #

The number identifying the part.

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

Zoom facility available.

Part Type

The type of the part which could be “Component” or “Miscellaneous” or “Expendables”, or “Tool” or “Consumable” or “Raw Material” or “Kit”.

Stock Status

The user-defined stock status

Condition

The condition of the part which could be 'New' or 'Over Hauled' or 'Serviceable' or 'Un-Serviceable' or 'Phased Out'.

Part Control Type

The control type of the part

Picking Strategy

The strategy by which the parts are to be shipped, which could be  “Manual”.

Pack Slip Quantity

The quantity of the part.

WH – Zone #

The number identifying the zone in which the part is stored (Alphanumeric, 10). This zone number must have been defined in the “Create Warehouse Information” activity of the “Storage Administration” business component and must be in the “Active” status. It is mandatory to enter the field, if the warehouse type is “Normal”. If the warehouse type is “Free, the zone must be left blank.

Bin #

The number identifying the bin in which the part is stored (Alphanumeric, 10). This bin number must have been defined in the “Create Warehouse Information” activity of the “Storage Administration” business component and must be in the “Active” status. It is mandatory to enter the field, if the zone type is “Normal”. If the zone type is “Free”, the bin type must be left blank.

Serial #

The unique number identifying the serial number issued by the warehouse (Alphanumeric, 40). It is mandatory to enter the field, if the part control  type is “Serial Controlled”.The value entered will be ignored if the part control type is “Lot Controlled” only.

Note: The value entered should be valid and as defined in the “Stock Maintenance” business component.

Note: Ensure that value entered is unique for the multiline.

The system displays the following:

Manufacturer Serial #

The serial number issued by the manufacturer.

Lot #

The unique number identifying the lot number issued by the warehouse. It is mandatory to enter the field, if the part control type is “Lot controlled”.

The system displays the following:

Manufacturer Lot #

The lot number issued by the manufacturer.

Quantity

The number of units of the part (Decimal). Mandatory. Ensure that this field is greater than zero.

Remarks

Additional comments pertaining to the modification of the quantity (Alphanumeric, 255).

Note: Ensure that the pack slip is not in “Cancelled” or “Confirmed” status.

Note: Ensure that there are as many “Lot #” and “Serial #” entered, for the pack slip quantity.

The system updates the storage details of the pack slip.
