Part #

The part # for which the already defined frequently requested parts is to be retrieved.

Part Description

The description of the part for which the already defined frequently requested parts is to be retrieved.

Search On

Use the drop-down list box to specify the value based on which the search is to be performed. The system lists the values “Part Group”, “Part Type”, “Part Category”, “Task #” along with a blank value.

The system enables or disables the second and third fields based on the value selected in the first drop-down list box.

  •  When the value “Part Group” is selected, then the drop-down list box lists all the “active” Part Group codes with Associate Parts as 'Yes', defined in the “Create Part/Service Groups” activity of the “Part Administration” business component.

  • When the value “Part Type” is selected, then the drop-down list box lists the values “Raw Material”, “Component”, “Expendable”, “Tool”, “Consumable”, “Kit”, “Miscellaneous” along with a blank value.

  • When the value “Part Category” is selected, then the drop-down list box lists all the “active” Part categories defined in the “Create Quick Codes” activity of the “Part Administration” business component.

  • On selecting “Task #” and entering a task number in the adjacent editable field, the system retrieves the part numbers requested together for the entered Task # in the multiline.

The description of the part.

Covers Alternate?

Use the drop-down list box to specify the alternate part coverage for the part. The system lists the following values:

  • Direct Alternates – Select this option to indicate that the direct alternates of the part will also be suggested with the frequently requested part definition.

  • Not Required - Select this option to indicate that the alternates of the part will not be suggested with the frequently requested part definition.

The system defaults the value “Direct Alternates”, by default.

Task #

The number identifying the task.

Part # requested together

The part # that are frequently requested along with the part. Mandatory.

The description of the part that is requested together.

Remarks

Any remarks pertaining to the mapping of frequently requested parts.

The system displays the following fields:

Mapped?

Indicates weather the part and the part requested together are mapped which could be ‘Yes’ or ‘No”.

Created By

The employee code of the person who created the record.

Created Date

The date on which the employee created the record.

Last Modified By

The employee code of the person who most recently modified the record.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the employee most recently modified the record.
