Unified Glossary

Basics of using a typical web page

Using online help

This page enables you to view the details of completion of the task(s) for a maintenance object (aircraft or component) . Tell me more

The “Track Maintenance Compliance History” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields are displayed and are to be entered in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

Action

Use the drop-down list box to select the action that you wish to carry out on compliance records. The drop-down list box displays the following: Audit, Manage, Verification and View. However, the process parameter 'Verification/Auditing of Compliance in “Track Maintenance Compliance History” screen' under entity ‘Compliance’ of entity type ‘Tech Records Process Ctrl’ in the Define Process Entities activity of Common Master determines whether Audit and Verification are displayed in the drop-down list box as shown in the table.

Update compliance information

Note: The button bar displays buttons based on access rights granted to users. See table for more details.

Note: 1) The Update Compliance pushbutton is available only if Search On is selected as ‘Compliance Correction’. 2) You cannot update compliance, if the complied task has already been verified. However, if you wish to update compliance of a verified task, you must reverse the compliance, modify data and then update compliance. 3) Similarly, you cannot update compliance, if the complied task has already been audited. However, if the process parameter 'Allow Correction/Deletion of Audited Task in “Track Maintenance Compliance History” screen’ under entity ‘Compliance’ of entity type ‘Tech Records Process Ctrl’ in the Define Process Entities activity of Common Master is 1/Yes, you can modify and update compliance details. See table for more details.

On correction of compliance records, the system updates information for maintenance object and task in the following way,

Computation of NSD / NSV based on ‘Change Type’:

  1. If the ‘Change Type’ is set as “Correction”, on correction of complied value from ‘Compliance History’, NSV needs to be recomputed based on:

    1. Threshold value or Repeat Interval if task is not complied at least once.

    1. ‘Update Basis’ (Time Window, Schedule or Actual Completion) set in the last instance of compliance.

  2. If the ‘Change Type’ is set as “Correction”, on correction of complied value from ‘Compliance History’,, NSD needs to be recomputed based on:

    1. "Reference Basis" (Induction or Operational date) if task is not complied at least once.

    1. ‘Update Basis’ (Time Window, Schedule or Actual Completion) set in the last instance of compliance.

  3. If the ‘Change Type’ is set as “Re-baseline”, on correction of complied value from ‘Compliance History’,:

    1. NSV is re-computed based on LPD / LPV entered by the user.

Update of computation basis controls - Section A

Update of computation basis controls - Section B

Delete compliance records

Note: The Delete Compliance pushbutton is available only if Search On is selected as ‘Compliance Correction’.

On deleting compliance of a task, the system updates the maintenance program of the aircraft in the following way,

However, you cannot delete a compliance instance of a task, if

  1. Any of the related tasks of the relationship type Initiate Schedule has already been complied with or allocated to an execution document later than the Compliance Date & Time of the parent task.

  2. Any of the related tasks of the relationship type Supersede Schedule has already been complied with or allocated to an execution document later than the Compliance Date & Time of the parent task.

  3. It is not the latest compliance record.  However, you can delete records preceding the latest compliance record along with the latest the compliance record.

To proceed carry out the following,

Tracking maintenance compliance history of aircraft/component– An overview

Track Maintenance Compliance History - A summary of the activity

This page enables you to view the details of completion of the task(s) for a maintenance object (aircraft or component) You can carry out a search for the aircraft based on the aircraft registration number, the task for which the compliance details must be viewed, schedule ID of the task and the period for which you wish to view the compliance details.

Based on the search criteria, the system retrieves the details of compliance such as the scheduled dates and values of the unit task(s), the actual completion date of the task(s), the organizational unit in which the task was executed and the reference document based on which it was executed. In addition to recording compliance for tasks, users can also perform the following:
