Creating aircraft work package – An overview
You can enter a unique number for the work package and provide a description for it. You can specify the category to which the work package belongs and the execution type of the work package, whether major or minor.
The work center in which the work package must be carried out, and the estimated time and man-hours for completing the work package, can be specified. You can specify the aircraft model for which the work package is applicable. This aircraft model is considered as the primary aircraft model. You can also provide a reference to a work package that is already defined and copy the work scope, spare part, resource and relationship details.
A work unit can represent a task or a standard procedure. You can define the work units that belong to the work package, and indicate the sequence in which they have to be carried out while executing the work package. You can also specify the work centers where the work units have to be performed, along with the total time and man-hours estimated for completing the work unit. You can attach a priority to the work unit and indicate whether the work unit is mandatory or not for the work package.
The system assigns the “Active” status as soon as the work package is created, and sets the work package creation date and time to the server date and time.
Associate work units to work package
Generate sequence number for work units
