Entering the weight details for sub fleet utilization

You can enter the weight to be assigned to the sub fleet utilization for a particular year.

Select the “Edit weights” link in the “Edit Sub Fleet Utilization” page.

The “Edit Weights” page appears.

Note: The system launches this page, only if the computation method is selected as "Weighted Average Method" or " Weighted Moving Average Method".

The system displays the following in the “Sub Fleet Details” group box:

Sub Fleet #

The number identifying the sub fleet.

Sub Fleet Desc

The textual description of the sub fleet.

Zoom facility available.

The system displays the following field in the “Weight Details” group box:

Year #

The computed year for which the weight is assigned.

If the computation method is selected as “Weighted Average Method”, the system displays the years between and inclusive of “Ref. Year From” and the “Ref. Year To” fields, in the descending order.

If the computation method is selected as “Weighted Moving Average Method”, the system displays the years based on the “Moving Average Count”.

Example

If the current server date is March 21, 2002 and the “Moving Average Count“ is 3, the system displays the years 2000, 2001 and 2002, in the descending order.

Enter the following field:

Weight

The user-defined value for the computed year (Integer). The number should be positive.

If you leave this field blank, the system sets the value as “1”.

Click the “Edit Weights” pushbutton to update the weight details of the sub fleet.

The system saves the weight entered against each year for the sub fleet number and computation method.
