Entering sub fleet utilization at forecast level
You can edit the utilization value of the sub fleet at the forecast level.
Select the “Edit Utilization” link in the "Create Forecast" or "Edit Forecast" page.
The “Edit Sub Fleet Utilization” page appears.
The system displays the following:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
The system displays the following in the “Sub Fleet Details” group box:
Forecast # |
The number identifying the aircraft forecast. |
Status |
The status of the forecast. |
Sub Fleet # |
The number identifying the sub fleet for which the utilization values must be entered. |
Sub Fleet Desc |
The textual description of the sub fleet. Zoom facility available. |
Enter the following in the “Parameter Details” group box:
Parameter |
Use the drop-down list box to select the parameter of the sub fleet. The system displays the common consumption parameter values defined for aircraft(s) belonging to the sub fleet, for which the reference is set as 'Yes'. By default, the system leaves the field blank. The system displays the parameters only when a “Usage based Schedule” is defined in the active “Maintenance Program” to which the aircraft is associated. |
The system displays the following:

The textual description of the usage parameter. |
UOM |
The unit of measurement of the utilization parameter. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the utilization values.
Note: If the utilization value is already defined at the sub fleet level, the system displays the seasonal utilization details.
The system displays the following in the “Seasonal Utilization Details” multiline:
Session # |
A sequential number generated by the system for each session defined, on clicking the “Edit Utilization” pushbutton. |
Enter the following:
Month From |
Use the drop-down list box to select the starting month of the session. The system displays all the twelve months of the year. By default, the system sets the field to “January”. The first month of the first session must be set as “January”. If you create only one session, the span of the session should be one year. If you create more than one session, the sessions must be defined across all the months in a year. |
Month To |
Use the drop-down list box to select the ending month of the session. The system displays all the twelve months of the year. By default, the system displays “December”. Ensure that the last month of the last session is set as “December”. |
Session Description |
The textual description of the session (Alphanumeric, 255). |
The system displays the following, on clicking the “Reset Utilization” pushbutton:
Utilization Value |
The computed utilization value of the sub fleet. |
Ref.Value |
The reference value of the utilization parameters. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the session for deletion.
Click the Delete icon in the toolbar above the multiline, to delete the session in the multiline.
To update the utilization details
Click the “Edit Utilization” pushbutton to update the modified details.
The system generates the session number sequentially and stores the utilization values against the respective sessions.
To compute the utilization value
Click the “Reset Utilization” pushbutton to compute the utilization value of the sub fleet.
The system updates the utilization value against the sub fleet.
