You can view the quantity of parts that are in transit due to a stock transfer transaction. Tell me more.
Select the “View Quantities In -Transit” link in the “Plan Material” page.
The “View Quantities In – Transit” page appears.
Date Format |
The format in which the date field is displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the “User Preferences” business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Part Details” group box:
Part # |
The number identifying the part for material planning. |
UOM |
The unit of measurement of the part. |
Part Description |
The textual description of the part. |
Total Qty in Transfer |
The total quantity of parts available in transit due to the “Stock Transfer” transaction. |
Unallocated MR Qty |
The total quantity of parts unallocated across various material requests for the specified part number and stock status. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Transfer Details” multiline:
Stock Transfer # |
The number identifying the stock transfer based on which the material request is generated. |
Click the hyperlinked “Stock Transfer # ”to view the stock transfer details.
Stock Transfer Date |
The date on which the stock transfer was generated. |
Part # |
The number identifying the requested part and alternate part. |
Note: The alternate part number will be displayed only if the material requests allow alternate part number for the requested part number.
Serial # |
The serial number of the part. |
Qty. |
The quantity of the part. |
From Location |
The location from where the stock is transferred. |
From Warehouse |
The warehouse from warehouse the stock is transferred. |
To Location |
The location to which the stock is transferred. |
To Warehouse # |
The warehouse to which the stock is transferred. |
Viewing quantities in transit – An overview
This page allows you to view the quantity of parts that are in transit due to a stock transfer transaction. The system displays the stock quantity,
a) For all the stock transfer orders in the “Authorized” status.
b) Where the part is same as the requested part number. If they are not the same and the material request Line allows alternate part numbers, then the transferred part should have the same prime part as the requested part.
c) Where the stock transfer order is still not allocated to any material request.
