Viewing rented-out quantity details
You can view the quantity of parts rented-out to the customer due to “Rental Order” transaction. Tell me more.
Select the “View Rented – Out Quantities” link in the “Plan Material” page.
The “View Rented – Out Quantities” page appears.
Date Format |
The format in which the date field is displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the “User Preferences” business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Part Details” group box:
Part # |
The number identifying the part for material planning. |
UOM |
The unit of measurement of the part. |
Part Description |
The textual description of the part. |
Total Rented Qty |
The total quantity of parts rented to the customer. |
Unallocated MR Qty |
The total quantity of the requested parts unallocated in various material requests. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Rental Order Details” multiline:
Rental Order # |
The number identifying the rental order based on which the material request is generated. |
Click the hyperlinked “Rental Order # ” to view the rental order details.
Rental Order Date |
The date on which the rental order was generated. |
Customer # |
The code identifying the customer to whom the part must be rented. |
Part # |
The number identifying the requested part and alternate part. |
Note: The alternate part number will be displayed only if the material requests allow alternate part number for the requested part number.
Serial # |
The serial number of the part. |
Qty |
The quantity of the part. |
Expected Returned Date |
The expected date by which the part is to be returned by the customer. |
Return Location |
The location to which the stock must be returned. |
Return Warehouse # |
The warehouse to which the stock must be returned. |
Viewing rented -out quantity details – An overview
This page allows you to view the quantity of parts rented-out to the customer due to “Rental Order” transaction. The system displays rental order quantity,
a) For all the rental orders in “Authorized” status
b) Where the part is same as the requested part number. If they are not the same and the material request line allows alternate part numbers, then the rental order part should have the same prime part as the requested part.
c) Where the need date is between the starting and ending dates of the requested date range for the material request.
