Viewing quantities under repair
You can view the quantity of parts available in the repair shop for repair due to a “Repair Order” transaction. Tell me more.
Select the “View Quantities Under Repair” link in the “Plan Material” page.
The “View Quantities Under Repair” page appears.
Date Format |
The format in which the date field is displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Part Details” group box:
Part # |
The number identifying the part for material planning. |
UOM |
The unit of measurement of the part. |
Part Description |
The textual description of the part. |
Total Repair Qty |
The total quantity of parts available in the repair shop due to “Repair Order” transaction. |
Unallocated MR Qty |
The total quantity of parts unallocated across various material requests for the specified part number and stock status. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Repair Order Details” multiline:
Repair Order # |
The number identifying the repair order based on which the material request is generated. |
Click the hyperlinked “Repair Order #” to view the repair order details.
Repair Order Date |
The date on which the repair order was generated. |
Line # |
The repair order line number containing the part. |
Note: The repair order “ Line #” for all the repair orders will be displayed as “1”.
Repair Shop # |
The number identifying the shop where the repair is performed. |
Repair Shop |
The name of the repair shop. |
Part # |
The number identifying the requested part and alternate part. |
Note: The alternate part number will be displayed only if the material requests allow alternate part number for the requested part number.
Qty |
The quantity of the part. |
Note: The “Quantity” for all the repair orders will be displayed as “1”.
Serial # |
The serial number of the part. |
Expected Return Date |
The expected return date of the part from the repair shop. |
Return Location |
The location to which the part must be returned. |
Return Warehouse # |
The number identifying the warehouse where the part must be returned. |
Viewing quantities in transit – An overview
This page allows you to view the quantity of parts available in the repair shop for repair due to a “Repair Order” transaction. The system displays repair order quantity, for all those repair orders where the part is as follows:
a) Issued but not yet received
b) Not set as “BER” (Beyond Economic Repair)
c) Where the expected return date is between the specified material request date range.
d) Where the RO line Part number is the same as the requested part number. If they are not the same and the material request line allows alternate part numbers, then the RO part should have the same prime part as the requested part.
