MRP Process Parameters

The “MRP Process Parameters” activity enables the user to define the key parameters for the MRP run.

Select the “MRP Process Parameters” activity under the “Material Requirements Planning” business component.

The “MRP Process Parameters” page appears.

Enter the following fields in the “Letter of Credit Details” section:

Set Option

Use the drop-down list box to specify the level at which the process parameters are to be defined. The system lists the values “OU Level” and “Part Group Level”.

OU Level – When this option is selected the MRP Run identifies the parts in the inventory that has MRP Enabled in the “Maintain Planning Information” activity of the “Part Administration” business component.
Part Group Level – When this option is selected the MRP Run identifies the part/service group selected in the adjacent field.

Use the drop-down list box to select the part/service group for which the process parameter is to be defined. The system lists all the part/service groups created with the purpose as ‘Material Requirement Planning’ in the “Create part / service groups” activity of the “Part Administration” business component.

Note: This field appears only if the “Set Option” field is selected as ‘Part Group Level’.

Select the “MRP Parameter” tab to define the process parameters for the MRP Run.
Select the “Demand/Supply” tab to define the demands and supplies that is applicable for MRP.
