The “Maintain Map Mapping” page appears.

The system displays the following tile section:

Unmapped

Select this tile if you wish to retrieve details of Part-Serial that has not been mapped to any asset.

Mapped

Select this tile if you wish to retrieve details of assets that are mapped.

All

Select this option if you wish to retrieve details of assets that are both mapped and unmapped

Note: Ensure that, If the set option for ‘Enable MAT mapping for LOT controlled Parts” in the “Set Finance Process Parameters” of the “OU Setup” business component is set as '0', if you wish to view  only the serial # controlled parts in 'Unmapped', 'Mapped' and 'All' tiles.

Search Criteria

The criteria, whether Part #/Part Desc./Serial #/Mfr. Lot #/Component #/Asset # based on which you wish to retrieve part details in the multiline.

Note: If the set option for lot controlled is enabled, on search results include the lot controlled part considering other search criteria too.

The system displays the following the “Part & Asset Details” multiline:

Part #

The part number to which the component belongs.

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

Serial # / Mfr. Lot #

The number identifying the serial number of the maintenance object / The manufacturer lot number of the maintenance object.

Src. Doc. Type

The source document type of the part.

Src. Doc. #

The number identifying the source document.

Aircraft Reg. #

The aircraft registration number.

 

 

Asset #

The asset number that you wish to associate to the maintenance object (Alphanumeric, 18). Ensure that the asset number is already defined in the “Asset Capitalization” business component, if the “Maintenance Asset Tracker” business component interacts with the “Asset Capitalization” business component.

Help facility available.

Ensure that the number entered in this code is an active asset code which has not been already mapped to any of the existing part management.

Tag #

The asset tag number that you wish to associate to the maintenance object (Integer). Ensure that the asset tag is already defined for the asset number in the “Asset Capitalization” business component and is in “Active” status, if the “Maintenance Asset Tracker” business component interacts with the “Asset Capitalization” business component.

The system displays the following fields in the “Part & Asset Details” multiline:

Mapping Status

The mapping status of the part-serial which could be mapped - Active or unmapped – inactive.

 

Effective From

The date from which the mapping is effective.

The system displays the following fields in the “Part & Asset Details” multiline:

Effective To

The date up to which mapping done for the part serial is effective.

History

View History should be available only for the parts which are all mapped to an Assets # and Tag #

Initiating Doc. Type

The initiating document type of the part-serial.

Initiating Doc. #

The number identifying the initiating document of the part-serial.

Last Updated Doc. Type

The type of document of part-serial that was updated last.

Last Updated Doc. #

The document number of the part-serial that was updated last.

Component #

The number identifying the component for which the asset identifier details must be entered (Alphanumeric, 90). You can enter the component number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character.

Current Location

Load the Current location based on the metadata of the current location for the distinct last updated doc types.

Facility Type

To lists the options “Tools”, “Equipment” and “Others”. By default, this field is set to “Tools”.

Facility Object #

The code identifying the facility object associated to the facility (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the facility object code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character.

Facility #

The number identifying the facility for which you wish to define or update the asset identifier details (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the facility number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character.

Facility Category

To lists all the quick codes of type “Facility Category” defined in the “Work Center” business component.

Tracking ID Asset?

Indicates whether the asset in included in tracking ID.

Finance Book

The finance book associated to the asset number.

Cost Center

The cost center associated to the asset number.

Analysis #

The code identifying the analysis code associated with the part.

Subanalsyis #

The code identifying the sub analysis code associated with the part.

Book Value

The book value of the maintenance object.

Asset Location Code

The code identifying the asset location.

Tag Status

The tag status of the maintenance object.

Parent Aircraft Reg. #

The registration number of the parent aircraft (Alphanumeric, 30).

Warehouse #

The warehouse where the part is stocked.

Wh-Zone #

The zone in which the part is stocked.

Bin #

The bin in which the part is stocked.

Manufacturer Serial #

The number identifying the manufacturer serial number.

Object Created At

The organizational unit in which the facility object is created.

Serial # Created At

The organizational unit in which the serial number for the part is created.

Object Condition

The condition of the maintenance object.

Aircraft Model #

The model to which the aircraft belongs (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the model number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all aircraft with model numbers that are similar to the number entered here.

Last Modified By

The login ID of the user who last modified the asset mapping details.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the asset mapping details were last modified.

Stocking Point

Use the drop-down list box to select the organizational unit in which the part is stocked. The system lists all organizational units in which the part can be stocked.

Planning Base

Select the organizational unit in which the maintenance activities on the aircraft are planned. The system lists all the organizational units where aircraft can be created.

Maintenance Base

To select the organizational unit to which the facilities and tools is associated. The system lists all those organization units that are defined in the “Work Center” and “Facility Management” business components, if the current business component interacts with the “Work Center” and “Facility Management” business components.

The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Mapped Parts

Color code indicating the status of mapping of the part-serial to the asset.

·         Green – Indicates active mapped assets

Unmapped Parts

Color code indicating the status of mapping of the part-serial to the asset.

·         Orange – Indicates inactive unmapped assets.

Note: Ensure that one record in the multiline is selected.
