Maintain Repair Process Codes – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to define the various repair processes that are performed on a component, using codes. These codes can then be used for defining the repair that is to be performed on the component in the “Repair Order” business component. These codes are also used in the “Supplier” business component to specify the repair processes that a repair shop is capable of carrying out and is certified to carry out on a particular part.

You can enter a code to identify a repair process and provide a description for it. You can also specify the status of the repair process code. The repair process code must be unique to the organization unit. The system creates the repair process codes and stores the name of the currently logged in user and the current server date.

You can also modify the repair process codes that are already defined in this page. You can search for the repair process codes by specifying the search criteria such as the repair process code and status. Based on the search criteria entered the system displays the repair process details. You can modify the repair process description and the status.
