This page allows you to create repair process code. Tell me more.

The “Maintain Repair Process Codes” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields appears in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

Repair Process Code

The repair process codes for which the details are to be modified (Alphanumeric, 25). You can enter the repair process codes in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the repair process codes that are similar to the value entered here.

Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the repair process code to be modified. The status could be “Active” or “Inactive”. The system retrieves all the repair process codes that are in the status specified here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of repair process codes irrespective of their status. The system leaves the field blank by default.

The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline:

Repair Process Code

A unique number identifying the repair process (Alphanumeric, 25). Mandatory. This can be a combination of characters and digits. Ensure that this number is unique to the organization unit.

Note: When you try to modify the already created repair process code, the system will display an error message.

Process Description

The textual description of the repair process (Alphanumeric, 150). Mandatory.

Status

Use the drop-down list box to modify the status of the repair process code to “Active” or “Inactive”.

 

Set the status as “Inactive” if you wish to disable the repair process code for future reference in other activities. You had set the field as “Active” when you created the repair process code for the first time.

The system displays the following:

Created By

The name of the user who created the repair process code.

Created Date

The date on which the repair process code was created.

Last Modified By

The name of the user who last modified the repair process code information.

Last Modified Date

Activate or inactivate repair process code

You can inactivate a repair process code that is in the “Active” status, so that it is disabled from future reference in other activities.

The system updates the status of the repair process code to “Inactive”.
