Managing Cargo details
Page Overview: You can record details of cargo hauled / transported by the leg of the trip including name, weight and slot details.
The “Manage Cargo Details” page appears.
The page displays the following:
Trip Plan # |
The trip as selected in the “Flight Operations” page for which you wish to record/update/view cargo details. |
Leg # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the leg of the trip for which you wish to retrieve cargo details. The drop-down list box displays all the available legs for the selected trip. The selected leg details will be retrieved in the “Cargo Details” multiline, which you can then update/view. |
The page displays the following:
Weight Unit |
The unit of measurement for the weightage of the cargo. Process Parameter dependency: Based on the process parameter “Weight Unit to be considered for Trip Plan” defined under the entity type Flight Operations and the entity Trip Plan in the Define Process Entities activity of Common Master, the unit of measurement is set for cargo weight. If the process parameter is set as 0 for “Kilograms (Kg)”, the unit of measurement for cargo weight will be displayed in Kilograms (Kg). Alternately, if the process parameter is set as 1 for “Pounds (lb)”, cargo weight will be displayed in Pounds (lb). |
Leg # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the leg of the trip for which you wish to record cargo details. The drop-down list box displays all the available legs for the selected trip. |
Cargo Slot # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the slot / location in the aircraft where the cargo must be hauled / transported by the leg of the trip. The drop-down list box displays the slot # defined from the Cargo Space definition in EFB – Central for the Aircraft Model & Flight Service Type combination. Note: You can specify Cargo Slot # or Cargo Slot # Ref. for an equipment. |
Cargo Slot # Ref. |
The slot # reference for the location in the aircraft where the cargo must be hauled / transported by the leg of the trip. Note: You can specify Cargo Slot # Ref. or Cargo Slot # for an equipment. |
Cargo Name |
The name/description for the cargo hauled / transported by the leg of the trip. Mandatory. |
Weight |
The weight of the cargo hauled / transported by the leg of the trip. |
