Manage Trip Plan – A summary of the activity
The “Manage Trip Plan” activity provides a central platform for the creation/update/view/cancel of trip plans.
A trip plan is created based on a flight request from a customer bound by a contract or a direct trip plan. Upon confirmation of a trip plan, the confirmed trip plan is routed to the EFBC system wherein a flight plan is generated against the trip plan. The flight plan can be confirmed or rejected by the users of the EFBC system.
You can create a trip and then assign crew and aircraft to the trip and create trip plan. You can then confirm and release the trip plan. If integration of Ramco M&E with the EFBC application is enabled, on release the trip plan is dispatched to the EFBC application. The user flies the trip plan in EFBC after approval of the flight plan for the trip.
The trip inherits the relevant flight request, customer and contract details and these details cannot be modified by the users.
