Entering parameter details of journey log for amendment
Select the Summary Parameter Details tab in the "Amend Journey Log" page.
The system displays the following in the “Summary Parameters Details” multiline:
Parameter Description |
The description of the parameter. |
Parameter |
The identifier of the consumption or range parameter. |
Enter the following:
Parameter Value |
The value of the parameter (Decimal). For consumption parameters, the number entered here must be greater than zero. For attribute parameters, the parameter value must have been defined in the “Aircraft” business component. |
Note: The “Parameter Value” can be entered only for those multiline rows for which the system retrieves the details on clicking the “Get Leg Dates” or “Get Leg Date & Time” pushbutton.
Note: For each row of the Summary Parameter Details multiline, if the “Parameter Type” is “Range” or “Consumption”, then ensure that the positive numeric values are entered in the “Parameter Value” column.
Note: For each row of the Summary Parameter Details multiline, if the “Parameter Type” is “Attribute”, then ensure that the values entered in the “Parameter Value” column are the values for the parameter of the Aircraft Reg # as defined in the “Aircraft” business component.
The system displays the following:
UOM |
The unit of measurement of the parameter. |
Update Mode |
The mode in which the parameter value is updated. The system displays one of the following:

Current Value |
The present value of the parameter. |
Resultant Value |
The final value of the parameter, which would increase or get replaced depending upon the update mode specified. |
Part# |
The number identifying the part fitted in the position code. |
Part Description |
The description of the part. |
Position Code |
The code identifying the position in the aircraft. |
Position Type |
The type of the position code, which could be “Engine” or “APU”. |
Parameter Type |
The type of parameter. |

Select the “Leg Details” tab to enter the details of the legs associated to the journey log.
