Issue Tools – A summary of the activity

This activity enables you to operate the tool and record the issue of a facility object.

Facility objects are issued, either for maintenance jobs or for calibration.

Note: You can issue a facility object only if it is serial controlled and has a part # reference.

The details you can record at the time of issue include,

• The holding tool crib associated with the facility object

• The issue basis, Regular or Maint.-Internal.

• The issue purpose, Returnable or Permanent.

• The part #

•  The serial #

•  The facility object user status

•  The issue date and time

•  The employee who receives the facility object

•  The employee who issues the facility object

•  The expected return date and time

•  The work center that will utilize the facility object

•  The authentication code of the employee who receives the object

•  The reference document type and number
