Viewing serial effectivity details for change request

This page allows you to view the serial number effectivity for each part identified for the change request. Tell me more.

Select the “View MCM Serial No Effectivity” link at the bottom of the “View Mod. Committee Meeting Part Effectivity” page.

The “View MCM Serial No Effectivity” page appears.

The system displays the following fields in the “MCM Details” group box:

MCM #	The number identifying the modification committee meeting.
MCM Status	The status assigned to the change request document, by the MCM.
Change Request #	The change request number for which the serial number effectivity details are displayed.
Revision #	The revision number of the change request if any.
Change Doc Type	The document type of the change request

Enter the following field:

Part #

Use the drop-down list box to select the part number for viewing the serial number effectivity details. The system lists all the parts for which the change request is applicable.

Click the “Get Details” pushbutton, to retrieve the serial number effectivity details that have already been defined for the part.

The system displays the following fields in the “Part Details” multiline:

Part Serial #	The serial number of the part for which the change request is applicable
Manufacturer Serial #	The serial number of the part manufacturer
Component #	The component ID of the part and serial number combination.
Applicability Group	The applicability group based on which the change request must be processed.

Viewing serial effectivity details for change request - An overview

This page allows you to view the serial number effectivity for each part identified for the change request. An applicability group number is created for this group of components, to indicate the set of components for which the compliance details, configuration changes, resources required etc., are applicable. In this page the component effectivity details such as the part serial number, manufacturer serial number, component ID are displayed with the applicability group number.

You can select the part and view the serial number effectivity details.
