Viewing sub task information for engineering document tasks
In this page, you can view the details of the sub tasks for the tasks. Tell me more.
Select the “View Sub Tasks” link at the bottom of the “View Task Information” page.
The “View Sub Tasks” page appears.
The system displays the following in the “Eng. Doc. Details” group box:
Eng. Doc # |
The engineering document for which the sub task details are displayed. |
Revision # |
The revision number of the engineering document. |
Subject |
The textual description of the engineering document. |
Applicability |
The applicability of the engineering document, which could be “Aircraft”, “Component” or “Engine”. |
Aircraft Model # |
The number identifying the aircraft model for which the engineering document is applicable. |
Std. Procedure |
The number identifying the standard procedure. |
Std. Procedure Description |
The textual description of the standard procedure. |
Enter the following field:
Task # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the task for which the sub tasks must be viewed. The system lists all the tasks that are defined for the engineering document and revision number combination. |
The system displays the following field on clicking the “Get Details” pushbutton:
Task Description |
The textual description of the task. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the sub task details for the selected task.
The system displays the following fields in the “Sub-Task Details” multiline:
Seq # |
The sequence in which the sub tasks should be performed, while executing the engineering document task. |
Sub Tasks |
The sub task that must be performed while executing the engineering document task. |
Resource Group |
Indicates whether the sub task should be performed by “Inspector”, “Mechanic” or “Both”. |
Document ID |
The number identifying the document that contains the sub task details. |
DSC # |
The number of the dependent system condition associated to the task. |
DSC Description |
The textual description of the dependent system condition. |
AMM / CMM Item # |
The Aircraft Maintenance Manual or the Component Maintenance Manual item number. |
File Name |
The name of the file that contains the document. |

In this page, you can view the details of the sub tasks for the tasks. You can select the task and view the sub task details. Multiple sub tasks could have been defined for the engineering document task.
Details such as the sub task number, the sequence in which the sub task must be performed and the resource group who would perform the sub task, are displayed in the multiline.
