Viewing task reference details for engineering document tasks

This page allows you to view the reference information for the engineering document task. Tell me more.

Select the “View Task References” link at the bottom of the “View Task Information” page.

The “View Task References” page appears.

The system displays the following in the “engineering document Details” group box:

Eng. Doc # #	The engineering order for which the task reference details are displayed.
Revision #	The revision number of the engineering document.
Subject	The textual description of the engineering document.
Applicability	The applicability of the engineering order, which could be “Aircraft”, “Component” or “Engine”.
Aircraft Model #	The number identifying the aircraft model for which the engineering order is applicable.
Std. Procedure #	The number identifying the standard procedure.
Std. Procedure Description	The textual description of the standard procedure.

Enter the following field:

Task #

Use the drop-down list box to select the task for which the reference document details must be viewed. The system lists all the tasks that are defined for the engineering document and revision number combination.

The system displays the following field on clicking the “Get Details” pushbutton:

Task Description

The textual description of the task.

Enter the following field:

Sub Task Line #

Use the drop-down list box to select the sub task for which the reference document details must be displayed. The system displays all the sub tasks associated to the task on clicking “Get Details” pushbutton.

Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the reference document details for the selected task.

The system displays the following fields in the “Reference Document Details” multiline:

Reference Doc Type	The type of the reference document.
Document ID	The number identifying the referenced document that contains the details of the task.
File Name	The file name of the reference document.

Click the hyperlinked “File Name” to view the file details.

Viewing task reference details for engineering document tasks – An overview

This page allows you to view the reference information for the engineering document task. The execution of task might involve referencing documents, manuals, drawings, etc. These details are recorded as the reference information in the “Edit Engineering Order” activity.

You can select a task and view the reference document details. Details such as the document type, reference document number and the path where the reference document resides, are displayed in the multiline.
