This page allow you can view the details of the parts required for executing the standard procedure or task. Tell me more.

The “View Part Requirements” page appears.

The system displays the following fields in the “Eng. Doc. Details” group box:

Eng. Doc #

The engineering document for which the part requirement details are displayed.

Revision No

The revision number of the engineering document.

Subject

The textual description of the engineering document.

Part Identifier

The MCR identifier of the part, which could be “Internal” or “Supplier”. This field is displayed only when the engineering document is created from the maintenance change request.

Applicability

The applicability of the engineering document, which could be “Aircraft”, “Component” or “Engine”.

Aircraft Model #

The number identifying the aircraft model for which the engineering document is applicable.

Std. Procedure #

The number identifying the standard procedure that must be performed for engineering document execution.

Std. Procedure Description

The textual description of the standard procedure.

Task #

Use the drop-down list box to select the task for which the parts requirement details must be viewed. The system lists all the tasks that are defined for the engineering documentand revision number combination.

Task Description

The textual description of the task.

The system displays the following fields in the “Part Details” multiline:

New / Existing

The classifier of the part. The system displays one the following:

 
  • New - indicates that the piece part is new and is not defined in the “Create Parts Main Information” activity of the “Part Administration” business component.

 
  • Existing - indicates that the piece part is already defined in the "Create Parts Main Information” activity of the “Part Administration” business component.

Part #

The number identifying the part required for executing the standard procedure or task. If the part is of type “Kit”, then the number identifying the kit part will be displayed.

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

Part Type

The type of the part.

UOM

The unit of measurement for the part.

Est. Qty.

The number of parts required for performing the standard procedure or task.

Currency

The currency in which the unit price of the part is specified.

Unit Price

The unit price of part.

Purchase Lead Time (Days)

The time required for purchasing the part.

Supplier Details

The details of the supplier of the part.

Viewing parts requirement details for engineering document tasks – An overview

View EO - A summary of the activity

You can view the details of the parts required for executing the standard procedure or task, in this page. The system lists all the tasks specified for the Engineering Document, from which you can select a task and view its part requirement details. Details of the parts such as the part number, its description, whether the part is a new part or an existing part, its type, unit of measurement, quantity, unit price, currency, time required to purchase the part and supplier details are displayed in the multiline.

If the piece part is of type “Kit”, you can view the kit composition details in the “View Kit Details” page.
