Viewing kit details for engineering document tasks

This page allows you to view the kit composition details for part numbers of type “Kit”, defined for the engineering document. Tell me more.

Select the “View Kit Part Details” link at the bottom of the “View Part Requirements” page.

The “View Kit Details” page appears.

The system displays the following fields in the “Eng. Doc. Details” group box:

Eng. Doc #	The engineering document for which the kit composition details are displayed.
Revision #	The revision number of the engineering document.
Subject	The textual description of the engineering document.
MCR Part Identifier	The MCR identifier of the part, which could be “Internal” or “Supplier”. The system displays the field when the engineering document is created from the maintenance change request.
Applicability	The applicability of the engineering document, which could be “Aircraft”, “Component” or “Engine”.
Aircraft Model #	The number identifying the aircraft model for which the engineering document is applicable.
Part #	The part of type “Kit”, selected in the “View Piece Parts Requirements” page.
Part Type	The type of the part.
Part Description	The textual description of the part.
UOM	The unit of measurement for the part.

The system displays the following fields in the “Part Details” multiline:

New / Existing	The classification of the part. The system displays one of the following:
	New - indicates that the part is new and is not defined in the “Create Parts Main Information” activity of the “Part Administration” business component.
	Existing - indicates that the part is already defined in the “Create Parts Main Information” activity of the “Part Administration” business component.
Part #	The number identifying the part present in the kit required to execute the engineering document.
MCR Part #	The part number present in the kit, as specified in the “Edit Kit Composition Information” page of the “Create MCR” activity.
Part Description	The textual description of the part present in the kit.
Part Type	The type of the part.
UOM	The unit of measurement for the part present in the kit.
Est. Qty.	The total number of parts required.
Currency	The currency for the unit price.
Unit Price	The unit price of part present in the kit.
Purchase Lead Time (Days)	The time required for purchasing the part.
Supplier Details	The details of the supplier of the part.
