Recording terminated change requests
In this page, you can enter the terminated change request(s), for the change request of type “MCR” that is in “Draft” status. Tell me more.
Select the “Edit Terminated Change Requests” link at the bottom of the “Process Change Request” page.
The “Edit Terminated Change Requests” page appears.
The system displays the following in the “MCM Details” group box:
MCM # |
The number identifying the MCM that processed the change request document. |
MCM Status |
The status assigned to the change request document, by the MCM. The system displays “Draft”. |
Change Request # |
The change request number selected in the “Process Change Request” page. |
Revision # |
The revision number of the change request. |
Change Doc Type |
The type of the change request, which could be “MCR”. |
Note: The system fills in the multiline fields, if terminated change requests have already been entered for the MCM number and the change request number combination.
Enter the following in the “Terminated Change Request Details” multiline:
Change Doc Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of change request document, which could be “MCR” or “Engineering Document”. The system leaves the field blank by default. |
Change Request # |
The number identifying the change request that is terminated by the current change request (Alphanumeric, 18). Mandatory. Help facility available.

Note: Ensure that the change request displayed in the “Change Request #” field, is not defined as terminated change request in any MCM, for any of the MCR or Engineering Document entered in the multiline..
Revision # |
The revision number, if any, of the terminated change request (Alphanumeric, 40). |
The system displays the following fields on clicking the “Edit Terminated Change Requests” pushbutton:
Source Doc Type |
The type of the source document. |
Subject |
The textual description of the change request. |
Note: Ensure that atleast one terminated change request is entered in the multiline.
Click the “Edit Terminated Requests” pushbutton to update the terminated change request details.
To proceed, carry out the following
Select the “View MCRs Terminated Change Requests” link at the bottom of the page to view the terminated maintenance change request details.
Recording terminated change requests – An overview
A new change document or change request that is released might override a single change request or a set of change requests that were released earlier. The current change request supersedes the former change requests, and the superseded change requests are termed as ”Terminated Change Request(s)”.
In this page, you can enter the terminated change request(s), for the change request of type “MCR” that is in “Draft” status. You can enter the MCR or engineering document number, revision number (if any) for the terminated change requests.

The details of the change request(s) that are terminated by the current change request can be entered in this page.
In the “Terminated Change Request Details” multiline,
Select the type of the change request to be terminated, in the “Change Doc Type” field.
Enter the terminated change request number and the corresponding revision number, in the ”Change Request #” and “Revision #” fields.
