Using Online Help

This page allows you to enter the details of the publications that are affected due to the Engineering Document execution. Tell me more.

The “Edit Publications Changed” page appears.

Note: The system ensures the following to launch the “Edit Schedule Information” page:

The Task (s) must have been defined for the Eng. Doc # in the "Edit Task Details” page.

At least one Task # of Program Item Type, "Schedule Tracked" should have been defined for the Eng. Doc # in the "Edit Task Details” page.

Applicability Group # and Task # mapping must exist if the page is launched from the “Create Engineerig Document” page or “Edit/ Revise Engineering Document” page.

If the ”Applicability” of engineering document is “Aircraft”, the system allows you to provide the schedule information only if the aircraft effectivity details are available for the Engineering Document.

If the ”Applicability” of engineering document is “Component”, the system launches the “Edit Schedule Information” page only if the component effectivity details are available for the Engineering Document .

The system displays the following in the "Eng Doc Details" group box:

Eng. Doc #

The engineering document for which the reference details must be entered.

Revision #

The revision number of the engineering document.

Subject

The textual description of the engineering document.

Note: The system displays the publications affected details that are already defined for the engineering document and the revision number combination in the multiline.

Ref Document Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the document to which the publication belongs. The system lists all the document types created in the "Create Reference Document Type" activity of the “Common Master” business component. Leave this field blank, if you do not wish to assign a type for the publication. The system leaves the field blank by default.
