Entering additional notes for the engineering document

This page allows you to record any additional information or notes pertaining to the engineering document. The engineering document number, revision number (if any) and subject are displayed by the system. You can enter any detail relevant for the engineering document.

Select the “Edit Notes” link at the bottom of the “Edit Engineering Document” page.

The “Edit Notes” page appears.

The system displays the following fields in the “Eng Doc Details” group box:

Eng. Doc #	The number identifying the engineering document for which you wish to enter the notes.
Revision #	The revision number of the engineering document, if any.
Subject	The textual description of the engineering document.
Applicability	The applicability of the engineering document, which could be “Aircraft”, “Component” or “Engine”.
Aircraft Model #	The number identifying the aircraft model for which the engineering document is applicable.

Enter the following:

Notes

Any additional information pertaining to the engineering document (Alphanumeric, 2000).

Click the “Edit Notes” pushbutton to update the notes for the engineering document.
