Entering access panel information for engineering document task
This page allows you to add access panels or delete the details of access panels that have already been identified for the task. Tell me more.
Select the “Edit Access Panel Information” link at the bottom of the “Edit Task Information” page.
The “Edit Access Panel Information” page appears.
The system displays the following in the "Eng Doc Details" group box:

The revision number of the engineering document. |

The textual description of the engineering document. |
Aircraft Model # |
The aircraft model to which the engineering document – task is associated |
Applicability |
The applicability of the engineering document which could be “Aircraft”, “Component” or “Engine”. |

The number identifying the standard procedure. |

The textual description of the standard procedure. |
Enter the following field:
Task # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the task for which the access panels must be identified. The system displays all the “new” and “improvised” tasks for a Standard Procedure number that are defined in the “Edit Task Details” page. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the access panels that have already been defined for the selected task and model combination.
The system displays the following field on clicking the “Get Details” pushbutton:

Enter the following fields in the "Access Panel Details" multiline, to add new access panels for the task:
Seq # |
The sequence in which the access panels have to be opened, before executing the task (Integer). Ensure that the sequence number is a positive integer and is unique in the multiline. |
If you have leave the sequence number blank, the system automatically assigns a sequence number to each of the access panels, in the order in which they are entered in the multiline, on clicking the “Edit Access Panel Information” pushbutton. Ensure that you do not leave it blank for any of the access panels occurring in between. |

Access Panel # |
The number identifying the access panel (Alphanumeric, 15). Mandatory. The access panel number should have already defined in the “Create Access Panel” activity of the “Maintenance Task” business component and the status must be “Active”. The access panel number should be unique within the multiline. |

Note: The system does not allow you to modify an already associated access panel number. To delete associated access panels, check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline and click the "Delete" button.
The system fills in the following field on clicking the “Edit Access Panel Information” pushbutton:

The zone to which the access panel is associated. |

The description of the access panel. |
Note: Ensure that at least one access panel is entered in the multiline.
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the access panel for deletion.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the access panels selected in the multiline.
If you wish to insert access panels in the access panel list and assign sequence number for them, click the “Re-Number” pushbutton to rearrange the existing rows in the ascending order of the sequence number. The system regenerates the sequence number in multiples of five, thereby enabling you to specify the sequence number for the newly added access panel.
Click the “Edit Access Panel Information” pushbutton to update the access panel details for the task.
To proceed, carry out the following:
Select the “View Access Panel Information” link provided at the bottom of the page to view the access panel information.
Entering access panel information for engineering document task – An overview
In this page, you can add access panels or delete the details of access panels that have already been identified for the task.
Access panels provide work area access for performing the task. Executing a task may involve opening of one or more panels to access a component or the area inside the component. You can identify the access panels for the selected task and assign a sequence number for each of them. The access panel tasks will be executed based on the sequence in which the access panels are identified for the task.
The details of access panels specified for the task are updated by the system and the last modified date is set to the server date.

You can identify the access panels that would provide work area access for performing the engineering document task. To execute the task, you may have to open one or more access panels inside the component.
Select the engineering document task in the “Task #” drop-down list box.
Enter the sequence number and the access panel numbers in the “Access Panel Details” multiline.
Click the “Edit Access Panel Information” pushbutton.
If you wish to insert access panels in this access panel list and assign sequence number for them, click the “Re-Number” pushbutton to rearrange the existing rows in the ascending order of the sequence number. The system regenerates the sequence number in multiples of five, thereby enabling you to specify the sequence number for the newly added access panel.
