Basics of using a typical web page

Using Online Help

This screen allows you to search for and retrieve the files belonging to a business component, with respect to the reference documents. Tell me more.

The “Delete / View Associated Doc. Attachments” page appears.

Org. Unit Name

Use the drop-down list box and select the name of the organization unit to which the file is associated.

The field displays the login organization unit, by default.

Business Component Name

Use the drop-down list box to specify the name of the business component to which the uploaded file belongs. The system lists all the business components that interact in the login organization unit, in the alphabetical order.

You must specify either the business component name or the Ref. Doc type - Ref Doc. # combination to retrieve the search results in the multiline.

Ref. Doc #

Use the drop-down list box to select the reference document type of the documents that you want to view. The drop-down list box displays the document types relevant to the business component selected in the previous drop-down list box.

Enter the reference document of the selected reference document type in the input box provided alongside. You can enter the reference document number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all reference documents of the selected reference document type with the identification number similar to the value you specify here. Do not specify any document #, if you want to retrieve all documents of the reference document type that you selected in the previous drop-own list box.

Additional Search On

Use the drop-down list box and select the entity based on which the file is retrieved. The system lists the options: “Aircraft Reg #”, “Part # / Serial #”, “Supplier #”, “User ID” and Key Code.

You can enter the code identifying the corresponding entity in the box provided alongside. You can enter the code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the files corresponding to entity in which the numbers are similar to the number entered here.

The system searches for the specific reference document in the destination path defined for the organization unit and business component combination in the Set Options activity. Further, all the folders and sub-folders in the destination path are searched and the document, if found is retrieved and displayed in the multiline. If a destination path is not defined, the system searches for the document in the default destination folder and all its sub-folders.
