Viewing work unit details for sub-components
This page allows you to view the details of work units that must be carried out on the sub-components. These work unit details are already defined in the “Edit Work Unit Information” page. You can select a sub-component line number and view the work unit details.
Select the “View Work Unit Information” link in the “View Sub-component Information” page.
The “View Work Unit Information” page appears.
The system displays the following fields in the “Customer Order Details” group box:
Customer Order # |
The customer order for which the work unit information for sub-components is displayed |
Amendment # |
The amendment number of the customer order |
Status |
The status of the customer order |
Enter the following fields in the “Sub-components Details” group box:
Sub-component Line # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the sub-component line number for viewing work unit information. The system lists all sub-components associated with the customer order. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the existing work unit details for the selected sub-component line number.
The system displays the following fields:
Position Code |
The position code to which the sub-component is attached |
Part # |
The part number to which the sub-component belongs |
Part Serial # |
The part serial number of the sub-component |
Part Description |
The textual description of the part Zoom facility available |
The system displays the following fields in the “Work Unit Details” multiline:
Line # |
The line number of the work unit. |
Work Unit Type |
The type of work unit which could be “Task”, “Standard Procedure”, “Aircraft Work Package”, “Component Work Package”, or “Maintenance Change Request” |
Work Unit # |
The number identifying the work unit that must be performed on the sub-component |
Revision # |
The revision number of the work unit |
Repair Process Code |
The repair process code associated with the work unit |
Maintenance Type |
The maintenance type of the work unit which could be one of the following:

Customer Task Card # |
The number identifying the customer task card |
AMM/CMM Item # |
The Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) or the Component Maintenance Manual (CMM) item number given for the work unit in the respective manuals |
Description |
The textual description of the work unit |
Estimation Required (Y/N) |
Indicates whether estimation for work unit is required or not. The system displays the options “Yes” or “No”. |
Est. Elapsed Time |
The time estimated to complete the work unit |
Time UOM |
The unit of measurement of the time, which could be “Minutes”, “Hours” or “Days” |
Est. Man Hrs. |
The man hours estimated to complete the work unit |
Non-routines Est. Man Hrs. |
The total man hours estimated to complete the non-routine work unit |
Resource Price: Flat |
The flat price for resource utilization |
Est. Resource Price |
The price estimated for resource utilization |
Total Est. Resource Price |
The total price estimated for resource utilization |
Material Price: Flat |
The flat price for material usage |
Est. Material Price |
The price estimated for material usage |
Total Est. Material Price |
The total price estimated for material usage |
Embodiment Fee |
The fee charged by the service provider for holding parts supplied by customer |
Misc. Cost |
The miscellaneous cost that will be incurred by the work unit execution |

The total amount estimated for work unit execution |
