Edit Component Replacement Details – A summary of the activity
This activity allows you to modify the details of the component replacement transaction that is already created. The ”Select Component Replacement #” page allows you to specify the search criteria and select the component replacement transaction to be modified. The component replacement transactions that are in the “Fresh”, "Error-Removed", "Error-Replaced" or ”Removed” status can be modified in the “Edit Component Replacement Details” page.

What you can do in this activity
Modify the component replacement transaction details
Modify the status of the component replacement transaction
Modify the component replacement transaction details
Use the “Select Component Replacement #” page to select the component replacement transaction that have to be modified.
Use the “Edit Component Replacement Details” page to modify the component replacement transaction that are in the “Fresh” or “Removed” status.
Modify the status of the component replacement transaction
The component replacement transaction can take any of the following status:
Fresh - When the component replacement transaction is created. The component and position history is not updated when the transaction is in this status.
Go to “Edit Component Replacement Details” page.
Click the “Edit CR” pushbutton to modify the component replacement transaction in “Fresh” status.
Error-Removed – When the removal details are confirmed with errors, the CR status is changed to “Error-Removed”.
Go to “Edit Component Replacement Details” page.
Click the “Confirm Removal” pushbutton.
If errors are encountered during confirm removal, the status of the component replacement transaction will change to “Error-Removed”.
Removed - When the removal details are confirmed, the status changes to “Removed”. The details of the removed component cannot be modified once the status is changed to “Removed”.
Go to “Edit Component Replacement Details” page.
Click the “Confirm Removal” pushbutton to modify the status of the component replacement transaction to “Removed” status.
Error-Replaced – When the replacement details are confirmed with errors, the CR status is changed to “Error-Replaced”.
Go to “Edit Component Replacement Details” page.
Click the “Confirm Replacement” pushbutton.
If errors are encountered during confirm replacement, the status of the component replacement transaction will change to “Error-Replaced”.
Note: A component replacement transaction can have the “Error-Removed” and “Error-Replaced” statuses only if the “Record Mode” is set as “With Error” for the CR.
Replaced - When the replacement transaction is confirmed, after entering the installed component details. The component and position history are updated once the status of the transaction is changed to “Replaced”.
Go to “Edit Component Replacement Details” page.
Click the “Confirm Replacement” pushbutton to modify the status of the component replacement transaction to “Replaced”.
Cancelled - When the replacement transaction is cancelled. Only replacement transactions that are in “Fresh” status can be cancelled.
Go to “Edit Component Replacement Details” page.
Click the “Cancel CR” pushbutton to cancel the component replacement transaction.
Use the “Error Log” tab in the “Edit Component Replacement Details” page, to view the error log for the component replacement transaction.
The details of all the errors encountered during the component replacement transactions will be displayed in the “Error Log” multiline. You can view the status of the error and the date on which the error was recorded and closed.
