Amending component replacement details – An overview

Amend CR Details - A summary of the activity

In this page you can alter the component removal details for the component replacement transactions that are in the “Replaced” status. The system displays the details of the selected component replacement transaction such as the component replacement transaction number, its status, type and number of the source document and the station at which the replacement was done.

You can record the SOS disposition for a component during amendment of component replacement. This refers to the revised condition of the component that could be Suspected Failure, Confirmed Failure or No Fault Found. Based on the SOS disposition, the system automatically resets the condition of the component in the following way,

Note: The details can be amended only if no component work order has been raised on the removed part and the serial number.
