Basics of using a typical web page

Using Online Help

You can view the attachment and removal details of a selected component. The component details will not be displayed, if no component is attached to the selected position code.

The system displays the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:

Component #

The number identifying the component.

  • Click the hyperlinked component number to view the component details.

Part #

The number identifying the part.

Serial #

The serial number of the component.

Transaction #

The number identifying the component replacement transaction (Alphanumeric, 255). You can enter the transaction number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the component replacement details for the transaction number specified here.

Transaction Date

The date on which the component was replaced (Date Format). The system retrieves the component replacement details for the transaction date specified here.

Note: The date specified in this field must be earlier than, or equal to the configuration review date of the aircraft or component.

Reason for Removal

The reason for the component replacement transaction (Alphanumeric, 25). You can enter the reason for removal in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the component replacement details applicable to the reason specified here.

The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

Transaction Date & Time

The date and time at which the component replacement took place.

Transaction Type

Indicates the type of the transaction on the component. The system displays one of the following:

  • “Attached” – If the component is attached to the aircraft.

  • “Removed” – If the component is removed from the aircraft.

Note: If the component is involved in both removal and attachment transactions, the removal transaction details for the component will be retrieved in the first set of multiline rows, followed by the attachment transaction details.

Aircraft Reg #

The registration number of the aircraft.

Serial #

The serial number of the aircraft.

Aircraft Model #

The model number of the aircraft.

Position Code

The position code to which the component is attached.

Level Code

The code identifying the level at which the component ID and the position code occurs in the component configuration hierarchy.

NHA Component #

The number identifying the component in the immediate higher assembly.

Transaction #

The number identifying the component replacement transaction.

Note: The system displays “Readiness Log” if the component is attached through the “Edit Aircraft Readiness Log” page or “Initialize Component Assembly” page of the “Configuration” business component.

Reason For Removal

The reason for the component replacement transaction. This field will be blank, if only component attachment transaction is performed for the aircraft or the parent component.

Transaction By

The user who performed the component replacement transaction.

Flight Hours

The flight hours of the component at the time of attaching it to the aircraft.

Flight Cycles

The flight cycles of the component at the time of attaching it to the aircraft.

Note: The system retrieves 100 records at a time in the multiline.
