This page allows you to select the maintenance object for viewing the reviewed configuration details. Tell me more.

The "Select Maintenance Object" page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date field is displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

Aircraft Reg # / Component #

The registration number of the aircraft (Alphanumeric, 30). Alternatively, you can enter the number identifying the component (Alphanumeric, 90). 

Ensure that you enter a valid aircraft registration number or component number.

Ensure that the component is not in “Phased Out” condition, to view its configuration review details.

Note: You can view the reviewed configuration details of the component, only if the selected component is not in “Phased-Out” condition.

To search for an aircraft / component

Aircraft Reg #

The registration number of the aircraft (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the aircraft registration number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the aircraft with the registration number specified here.

Aircraft Model #

Use the drop-down list box to specify the model of the aircraft. The system lists the active aircraft models as defined in the “Aircraft” business component. The system retrieves all the aircraft belonging to the model specified here. The system leaves this field blank by default.

Config. Status

Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the component or aircraft configuration. The system lists the following options:

  • Fresh – Indicates that the component or aircraft configuration is newly created.

  • Active – Indicates that the component or aircraft configuration has been approved.

  • Revised – Indicates that the component or aircraft configuration has been modified.

The system retrieves all the components with the configuration status specified here. The system displays "Active" by default.

Model Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify the aircraft model type. The system lists all the active quick codes that are defined for the “Model Type” in the “Create Quick Codes” activity of the “Aircraft” business component. The system retrieves all the aircraft belonging to the model type specified here. The system leaves this field blank by default.

Configuration Class

The configuration class to which the aircraft belongs (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the configuration class in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the aircraft associated to the configuration class specified here.

Aircraft Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of aircraft. The system lists all the active quick codes that are defined for the “Aircraft Type” in the “Create Quick Codes” activity of the “Aircraft” business component. The system retrieves all the aircraft belonging to the type specified here. The system leaves this field blank by default.

Aircraft Ownership

Use the drop-down list box to indicate the ownership type of the aircraft. The system provides the following options:

  • Owned - indicates that the aircraft is owned.

  • Leased - indicates that the aircraft is taken on lease.

  • Leased out - indicates that the aircraft is leased out to a third party.

  • Customer – indicates that the customer owns the aircraft.

The system retrieves all the aircraft of the ownership type specified here. The system leaves this field blank by default.

Usage Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify the aircraft usage type. The system lists all the active quick codes that are defined for the “Usage Type” in the “Create Quick Codes” activity of the “Aircraft” business component. The system retrieves all the aircraft belonging to the usage type specified here. The system leaves this field blank by default.

Engagement Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of service provided to the component or aircraft. The system lists the following options:

  • Full Maintenance – Select this option to indicate that full maintenance service would be provided on the component or aircraft.

  • On Request – Select this option to indicate that the maintenance service would be provided on request.

The system retrieves all the aircraft or components associated to the engagement type specified here. The system leaves this field blank by default.

Default Maintenance Base

Use the drop-down list box to select the organizational unit in which the maintenance activities of the component or aircraft is carried out. The system lists all the organizational units where maintenance activities can be carried out, as defined in the “Hangar Work Order” and “Component Work Order” business components.

The system retrieves all the aircraft or components associated to the default maintenance base specified here. The system leaves this field blank by default.

Aircraft Detail – 1

Use the drop-down list box to select any other detail related to the aircraft. The system lists all the quick codes that are of type “Aircraft Detail – 1” and in “Active” status, as defined in the “Create Quick Codes” activity of the “Aircraft” business component. The system leaves this field blank by default.

Aircraft Detail – 2

Use the drop-down list box to select any other detail related to the aircraft. The system lists all the quick codes that are of type “Aircraft Detail – 2” and in “Active” status, as defined in the “Create Quick Codes” activity of the “Aircraft” business component. The system leaves this field blank by default.

AOG Status?

Use the drop-down list box to specify the grounding status of the aircraft. The system lists the options “AOG” and “No”. The system leaves this field blank by default.

Manufacturer Serial #

The serial number assigned by the manufacturer, for the component or aircraft (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the manufacturer serial number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the aircraft or components associated to the manufacturer serial number specified here.

Component #

The number identifying the component (Alphanumeric, 90). You can enter the component number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the components with the number specified here.

Ensure that the component is not in “Phased Out” condition.

Status

Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the aircraft or component. The system lists the options “Active” and “Inactive”. The system retrieves all the aircraft or components having the status specified here.

Part #

The number identifying the part (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the part number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the components having the part number specified here.

Part Serial #

The part serial number of the component (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the part serial number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the components with the part serial number specified here.

Note: The system retrieves only those aircraft that are in “Active” status.

Note: If all the fields in the search criteria are left blank, the system retrieves only aircraft registration numbers in the multiline.

The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

Aircraft Reg # / Component #

The registration number of the aircraft or the number identifying the component.

Part #

The part number of the component.

Serial #

The serial number of the component.

Manufacturer Serial #

The serial number given by the manufacturer, for the aircraft or component.

Model #

The number identifying the model of the aircraft.

Model Type

The type of the aircraft model.

Config. Status

The status of the aircraft or component configuration.

Assembly Status

Indicates the assembly status of the aircraft or component configuration.

  • Complete – indicates that the components are associated to all the active position codes in the aircraft or component configuration.

  • Dormant – indicates that the components are associated only to some of the active position codes in the aircraft or component configuration.

Configuration Class

The configuration class to which the aircraft belongs.

Revision #

The revision number of the component configuration or aircraft configuration.

Aircraft Ownership

The ownership type of the aircraft, which could be “Owned”, “Leased”, “Leased Out” or “Customer”. 

Usage Type

The usage type of the aircraft.

Status

The status of the aircraft or component.

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

As On Date

The date until which you wish to view the aircraft or component details (Date Format). The system displays the current system date by default.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Selecting maintenance object for viewing - An overview

Review Configuration - A summary of the activity

In this page, you can select the maintenance object for viewing the reviewed configuration details. If you know the aircraft registration number or the component number, you can enter it directly. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the aircraft registration number or component number, aircraft model number, configuration status, warranty details associated with the aircraft, manufacturer serial number and part number. Details such as aircraft registration number, component number, part number, serial number, model number, assembly status, configuration class and revision number are displayed.
