Set Options – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to set default options for the various fields in the activities of the “Component Maintenance Planning” business component. You can also modify the options that are already defined. You can set the following options in this activity:

• the planning object for which the component maintenance planning must be done.

• the default initial start date for the component forecast.

• the standard horizon or time interval to be specified for the forecast on the components in days.

• the default life parameter for utilization factors.

• the default factor of utilization based on which the forecast is to be carried out

• the type of planner who would allocate component jobs to repair order.

•  the release of forecast as mandatory or not.

• the type of the planner who would allocate component jobs to visit package.

• the default work center for performing component jobs.

•  the default location for repair order generation.

• the default priority for the forecast
