Selecting a maintenance forecast for viewing
This page helps you select a maintenance forecast of the planning objects for viewing. If you know the forecast number, you can enter it directly. You can also carry out a search based on the forecast number, user status associated with the forecast, planner group number and forecast category number. You can also search based on the date before which the forecast gets completed and on the date after which the forecast gets completed. The system retrieves the search results in the multiline.
Select the “View Forecast Arisings” link under the “Component Maintenance Planning” business component.
The “Select Forecast” page appears.
The system displays the following field:
Date Format |
The format in which the date field is displayed This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. If the format is not defined, the system will display the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default. |
Enter the following field in the “Direct Entry” group box, if you know the forecast number for which the details are to be viewed:
Forecast # |
A unique number identifying the forecast generated for the planning object. |
Select the “View Forecast Details” link provided alongside to view the maintenance forecast details of the planning objects.
To search for a forecast number
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a maintenance forecast. Data entry in the following fields is optional:
Forecast # |
A unique number identifying the forecast generated for the planning object (Alphanumeric, 18). This number is generated in the “Create Forecast” activity. |
User Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the user status of the forecast. The system lists all the ‘active’ user statuses defined for the forecast in the "Create Quick Codes" activity. By default, the system leaves this field blank. |
Component # |
The number identifying the component for which forecast details have to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 90). The system retrieves all maintenance forecasts generated for the component numbers that are similar to the number entered here. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the forecast. The system displays the options: “Fresh”, “Released” and “Cancelled”. By default, the system leaves this field blank. |
End Date – From |
The starting date, in the range of dates, from which the forecast numbers must be retrieved (Date Format). The system retrieves all maintenance forecasts with an end date equal to and later than the given data. |
End Date - To |
The ending date, in the range of dates, until which the forecast numbers must be retrieved (Date Format). The system retrieves all Maintenance forecasts with an end date equal to and earlier than the given date. |
Planner Group # |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the number of the planner group that generated the maintenance forecast . The system all the planner groups that are associated with the login user. The system leaves this field blank by default. |
Forecast Category # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the user-defined category to which the forecast belongs. The system lists all the 'active' forecast categories created in the "Create Quick Codes" activity. By default, the system leaves this field blank. |
Click the "Search" pushbutton to display the search results.
The system displays the following fields in the "Search Results" multiline:
Forecast # |
The number identifying the forecast generated for the planning object. |
Re Forecast Count |
The number of times the forecast details have been modified. |
Start Date |
The starting date of the forecast. |
End Date |
The ending date of the forecast generated for the planning object. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the forecast details were last modified. |
User Status |
The user status associated with the forecast. |
Planner Group |
The planner group to which the planning object belong. |
Description |
The textual description of the planner group. |
Note: Ensure that atleast one forecast number is selected in the multiline.
Click the hyperlinked forecast number in the multiline, to view the maintenance forecast details.
