This page allows you to view the re-forecast details. Tell me more.

The “Inquire Re-forecast Details” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. If the format is not defined, the system will display the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

The system displays the following fields in the "Forecast Details" group box:

Forecast #

The number identifying the forecast for which you wish to inquire re-forecast details

Re-forecast Count

The number of times the re-forecast is done for the component

Forecast Start Date

The start date of the forecast

Forecast End Date

The end date of the forecast

Planner Group #

The number identifying the planner group who created the forecast

Description

The textual description of the forecast

Part #

The part number for which the maintenance arising is re-forecasted (Alphanumeric, 40). Mandatory.

ATA #

The ATA chapter number for which the maintenance arising is re-forecasted (Alphanumeric, 16)

Component #

The component number for which the maintenance arising is forecasted (Alphanumeric, 90)

Component Family

The component family to which the component belongs (Alphanumeric, 80)

Maintenance Type

Use the drop-down list box to modify the type of maintenance to be carried out on the component. The system lists the options: “Overhaul”, “Inspection”, “Repair”, "Retire" and “Others”.  The system leaves this field blank by default.

Scheduled Date

The date on which the forecast is scheduled to start (Date Format)

Note: The system displays the re-forecasted work units that satisfy the conditions specified in the arising criteria entered above.

The system displays the following fields in the “Component Arising Details” multiline:

Part #

The number identifying the part for which the re-forecasting is done

Serial #

The serial number of the component for which the re-forecasting is done

Re-Forecast Impact

The impact caused by the re-forecast

The system displays one of the following options:

  • Scheduled Earlier – If the scheduled date of the work unit is advanced and if the scheduled date is not earlier than the forecast start date

  • Scheduled Later - If the scheduled date of the work unit is postponed and if the scheduled date is not later than the forecast end date

  • Scheduled Before Forecast Start Date - If the scheduled date is advanced and if the scheduled date is earlier than the forecast start date

  • Scheduled After Forecast End Date - If the scheduled date is postponed and if the scheduled date is later than the forecast end date

  • No Impact  – If there is no change in the impact of the forecast.

Maintenance Type

The type of maintenance work to be carried out on the component

Work Unit Type

The type of the work unit that must be performed on the component. The system displays one of the options: "Work package", "Standard Package" or "Task"

Work Unit #

The number of the work units that must be performed on the component

Scheduled Date

The scheduled date on which the work unit must be performed i.e. the re-forecasted schedule date).

Alert Date

The date on which the alert message is raised for the execution of the work unit

Assigned?

Indicates whether this work unit is assigned or not. The system displays one of the following:

  • Yes – Indicates that the job status of the work unit is “Allocated”

  • No – Indicates that the job status of the work unit is “Pending”

Component #

The number identifying the component for which the forecasting is done

Primary Work Center #

The textual description of the work center in which the work unit will be performed

Work Unit Desc

The textual description of the work unit

Part Description

The textual description of the part

Inquire Re-forecast Details – An overview

Re - Forecast - A summary of the activity

This page allows you to view the re-forecast details.

You can specify the arising criteria such as the part number, the ATA chapter number, the component number, the component family, the maintenance type and the scheduled date. The system retrieves the details of the re-forecasted work units that satisfy the criteria specified.

The system displays the details of the re-forecasted work units such as the part number, the serial number, the re-forecast impact, the maintenance type, the work unit type, the work unit number, the scheduled date, the alert date, whether the work unit is assigned or not, the component number, the primary work center, the work unit description and the part description.
