This page allows you to modify the details of an already existing planner group. Tell me more.

The "Edit Planner Group Information" page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date Format

The format in which the date field is displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. If the format is not defined, the system will display the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

The system displays the following fields in the "Planner Group Details" group box:

Planner Group #

The number identifying the planner group that you wish to modify.

Description

The textual description of the planner group (Alphanumeric, 150)

Status

Use the drop-down list box to modify the status of the planner group. The system lists the options: "Active" and "Inactive". The system sets this field to “Active” by default.

User Defined 1

Any user-defined detail regarding planner group (Alphanumeric, 30)

Planner Category

Use the drop-down list box to modify the user-defined category to which the planner belongs. The system lists all the 'active' planner categories created in the "Create Quick Codes" activity.

Planner Group Basis

Planner Group Basis Use the drop-down list box to modify the basis for the planner group. The system displays the following options:

  • Aircraft – Select this option if you wish to modify a planner group defined for components that are attached to aircraft.

  • Inventory – Select this option if you wish to modify a planner group defined for components that are in inventory.

  • Aircraft and Inventory – Select this option to modify planner groups defined for components that are attached to aircraft and in inventory.

  • Generic – Select this option to modify planner groups defined for all components.

This field is set to “Generic” by default.

Data Selection in this field is mandatory.

Maint. Operator #

Use the drop-down list box to specify the Maintenance Operator number of the planner group. The system lists all the ‘active’ Maintenance Operator # defined in the “Create Airline Operator” activity of the “Common Master” business component along with a blank value. The default value for the 'Maint. Operator #' field will be the value last saved for the Planner Group from either the 'Create Planner Group' screen or the 'Edit Planner Group Information' screen.

Any remark or comment regarding planner group (Alphanumeric, 255)

Planner Group

A unique number identifying the planner group (Alphanumeric, 25) Ensure that the planner group is already defined in the login organizational unit.

Check this box to copy all the details of the planner group.

User Details

Check this box to copy only the user or employee details of the planner group.

Planning Object

Check this box to copy only the planning object details of the planner group. The planning object details with the associated aircraft details are copied.

The system displays the user details that have been already defined for the planning group.

Note: Ensure that at least one of the above three boxes is checked, if you have entered the planner group.

User Name

The user name of the person whom you wish to associate with the planner group (Alphanumeric, 30) Mandatory

Ensure that the user name is already defined in the ”HR Setup” business component. Also ensure that the user is associated with an employee who is in the "Active" status. The user name must be unique to the multiline.

The system displays the following fields:

Employee #

The code of the employee

Employee Name

The name of the employee

Remarks

Any remark regarding the association of an employee with the planner group (Alphanumeric, 255)

Note: Ensure that atleast one record is entered in the multiline if you have not selected any options in the "Copy Details" group box.

The system allows you to delete the planning object that is attached to the planner group in “Inactive” status.

The system displays the following in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Created by

The name of the user who created the planner group

Created Date

The date on which the planner group was created

Last Modified by

The name of the user who last modified the planner group

Last Modified Date

The date on which the planner group was last modified
