Selecting planner group for modification
This page allows you to select a planner group for modifying the details. Tell me more.
Select the "Edit Planner Group" link under the "Component Maintenance Planning" business component.
The "Select Planner Group" page appears.
Enter the following in the "Direct Entry" group box:
Planner Group # |
The number of the planner group that you wish to modify (Alphanumeric, 25) |
Select the "Edit Planner Group" link provided alongside to modify the planner group details.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a planner group: (Data entry in the following fields is optional.)
Planner Group # |
The number of the planner group that you wish to modify (Alphanumeric, 25). You can enter the planner group number in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the planner group numbers that are similar to the number entered here. |
Description |
The textual description of the planner group (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full, or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the planner group numbers whose descriptions are similar to the description entered here. |
Search By |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the value based on which the search is to be performed. The system lists the values ‘Planner Category’ and ‘Maint. Operator #’. The system displays the value ‘Planner Category’, by default. |

Component Family |
The component family with which the planner group is associated (Alphanumeric, 25). You can enter the component family number in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the planner group numbers with the component family number entered here. |
ATA # |
The ATA chapter number with which the planner group is associated (Alphanumeric, 16). You can enter the ATA chapter number in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the planner group numbers with the ATA chapter number entered here. |
Part # |
The part number with which the planner group is associated (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the part number in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the planner group numbers with the part number entered here. |
Component # |
The component number with which the planner group is associated (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the component number in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the planner group numbers with the component number entered here. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the planner group. The system lists the options: "Active" and "Inactive". The system retrieves all the planner groups of the status specified here. The system leaves this field blank by default. |
Repair Date From |
To retrieve components that were received in a specific period against repair orders, enter the start date of the period. |
Repair Date To |
To retrieve components that were received in a specific period against repair orders, enter the end date of the period. |
Click the "Search" pushbutton to display the search results.
The system displays the following fields in the "Search Results" multiline:
Planner Group |
The number that identifies the planner group defined in the system |
Description |
The textual description of the planner group |
Planner Category |
The category to which the planner group belongs |
Status |
The status of the planner group which could be "Active" or "Inactive" |
Planning Object Type |
The type of the planning object associated with the planner group which could be "ATA #", "Part #", "Component #" or "Component Family #" |
Number Of Users |
The total number of users associated with the planner group |
No. Of Components |
The number of components associated with the planner group |
Click the hyperlinked planner group number to modify the planner group information.
Selecting planner group for modification - An overview
This page allows you to select a planner group for modifying the details. If you know the planner group number you can enter it directly. Otherwise you can carry out a search based on the planner group number, the description, the planner category, the component family, the ATA chapter number, the part number, the component number and the status of the planner group. The system displays the search results in the multiline.
