In this page, you can view the entire details of tasks/discrepancies pertaining to an aircraft or a component.. You can view the general details of the task/discrepancy including maintenance programs, source and execution details. The remaining times and task relationship details are also available in this page.

The “View Task/Discrepancy Dates and References” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

The system displays the following in the “Task/Discrepancy Details” group box:

Aircraft Reg #

The aircraft associated with the execution document.

Aircraft Model #

The model of the aircraft associated with the execution document.

Part #/Serial #

The part #-serial # of the component associated with the task/discrepancy.

Component #

The component associated with the task/discrepancy.

Task #

The task associated with the aircraft./ component for which the details are displayed in the page.

Task Description

The short name/description of the task.

Zoom facility available.

Discrepancy #

The discrepancy associated with the aircraft/ component for which the details are displayed in the page.

Discrepancy Description

The name/short description of the discrepancy.

The system displays the following in the Program Details” group box:

Maintenance Program #

The number identifying the maintenance program associated to the work unit.

Revision #

The revision number of the maintenance program.

Prong. Item Type

The program item type of the task such as Block, Base, Non-Block, To be Decided, Perpetual, As Required or Event Driven.

Deferral Allowed?

Indicates the deferment policy for the task in the aircraft maintenance program.

Displays “Yes” or “No” based on the deferment policy defined for the task in the aircraft maintenance program.

Forecast #

The forecast number based on which the work unit is forecasted.

Forecasted At

The organizational unit in which the forecast was done.

The system displays the following in the “Source Details” group box:

Eng. Doc. #

The identification number of the engineering document reference for the task.

Eng. Docs

The name/short description of the engineering document reference for the task.

Revision #

The revision number of the engineering document reference for the task.

Deferment Request #

The deferment request for the task.

Source

The origin of the task. This field displays,

  • Aircraft Maintenance Program, if the schedules for the task are already defined in the aircraft maintenance program.

  • Component Maintenance Program, if the schedules for the task are already in the component maintenance program.

  • Aircraft Maintenance Program-As Required, if the schedules for the task are not defined in the aircraft maintenance program.

  • Component Maintenance Program-As Required, if the schedules for the task are not defined in the component maintenance program.

  • Engg. Docs, if the task is based on an engineering document.

  • Deferred Work Unit, if the task is a deferred task from the pending tray.

  • Un-forecasted, if the task is not yet forecasted.

The system displays the following in the “Execution Details” group box:

Exe. Doc #

The identification number of the execution document associated with the task/discrepancy.

Exe. Doc Type

he type of the execution document, such as Visit Package, Hangar Work Order or Aircraft Maintenance Execution document.

Job Type

The job type of the work unit, which could be “Aircraft”, “On-Wing”, “Off-wing” or “Component Removal”.

Job Status

The current status of the work unit.

The “Forecast / Disc. Deferral Dates” group box displays the following. The system displays the following in the “Execution Details” group box:

Earliest Schedule Date

The earliest incidence of the pending task/discrepancy for the component/aircraft.

Latest Schedule Date

The latest incidence of the pending task/discrepancy for the component/aircraft.

Schedule Date

The date on which the task/discrepancy is scheduled for execution.

Alert Date

The date on which the Alert message for the task/discrepancy is published.

Rem. Days

The number of days in hand/available for the schedule date.

Note: The Deferral Type / Item # field is available only for discrepancies whose resolution has been deferred to a later date

Deferral Type / Item #

The deferral type/item number of the deferred discrepancy

The “Forecast / Disc. Deferral Parameter Details” multiline displays the following.

Parameter

The parameter, such as flight hours or engine hours based on which the task / discrepancy is scheduled.

UOM

The unit of measurement for the time , which could be “minutes”, “hours” or “days”.

Earliest Scheduled Value

The minimum value of the parameter, which calls for the initiation of the maintenance action

Scheduled Value

The value of the parameter, reaching which the maintenance action is scheduled to be done

Latest Scheduled Value

The maximum value of the parameter, which calls for the initiation of the maintenance action

Alert Value

The value of the parameter at which the Alert message is published for the execution of the task /discrepancy.

Remaining Value

The remaining value of the parameter at which the maintenance activity becomes due.

Parameter Description

The textual description of the parameter

The “Related Task Details” group box displays the following.

Parent Task #

The code identifying the parent task of the work unit.

Relationship Type

The relationship type of the task with the work unit.

The “Other Relationship Details” multiline displays the following.

Relationship Category

The relationship category of the task

Rel. Task #

The identification number of the task related to the task displayed in the Parent Task # in the “Related Task Details” group box.

Rel. Task Description

The short name/description of the related task.

Relationship

The type of the relationship, such as Initiate Schedule, Terminate Schedule, ,Supersede Schedule and Initiate Records Follow-up.

Follow-up Instructions

The guideline specified for the task in the Maintenance Task component.
