Setting options for visit package
This page allows you to set default options for the various fields in the activities of the “Visit Package” business component.
Select the “Set Options” link under the “Visit Package” business component.
The “Set Options” page appears.
The system, displays the following field:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
Enter the following fields in the “Options” group box:
Visit Package Approval |
Use the drop-down list to specify whether the approval of the visit package is required or not. The system provides the options “Required” and “Not Required”
The system sets the field to “Required” by default.. |
Numbering Type for Scheduled Visit Packages |
Use the drop-down list box to select the numbering type that has to be used while generating the ‘scheduled’ visit package in the “Central Planning” business component. The system lists the “Active” numbering types defined for the “Visit Package” transaction in the “Create Numbering Class“ activity of the “Document Numbering Class” business component. |
Work Center Hierarchy Check |
Use the drop-down list box to enable or disable hierarchy check for work centers. The system provides the option “Required” and “Not Required”.
Note: If the hierarchy check is set as “Required” ensure that the work center selected for the visit package is either primary work centre or a child work center associated to the primary work center. If the hierarchy check is set as “Not Required” ensure that the work center specified is associated to the organization unit. |
Note: If the hierarchy check is set as “Yes” then the work center selected for the visit package should be either primary work centre or it should be a child work center associated to the primary work center. If the hierarchy check is set as “No” then work center specified should be associated to the organization unit. |

Automatic Material Request Generation |
Use the drop-down list box to enable or disable automatic generation of material requests for the parts required for performing the visit package.
The system sets the field to “Yes” by default. |
WO Status on Release |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status in which the work order must be created, when the visit package is released. The system displays the options ‘Fresh” and “Scheduled”.
The system sets the field to “Fresh” by default. |
Click the “Set Options” pushbutton to update the option settings.
The system displays the following field in the “Record Statistics” group box:
Last Modified by |
The login ID of the user who last modified the option settings. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the option settings were last modified. |
