Inquire short term escalation  status – A summary of the activity

The “Inquire Short Term Escalation  Status” activity allows you to modify or view the details of a short term escalation . You can cancel, edit or confirm the short term escalation, which is in the “Fresh” status.

4 Select a short term escalation in the multiline of the “Select Short Term Escalation ” page.

4 Select the “Edit Short Term Escalation Details” link at the bottom of the page.

The system displays the “Request Short Term Escalation Details” page.

4 Click the “Cancel Short term Escalation” pushbutton, to cancel the selected short term escalation .

When you click the pushbutton, the system changes the status of the selected short term escalation to “Canceled”.

4 Click the “Confirm Short term Escalation” pushbutton, to confirm the selected short term escalation.

When you click the pushbutton, the system changes the status of the selected short term escalations to “Confirmed”.

Modify the short term escalation details

You can modify the short term escalation details of a work unit. You can modify the escalation type and the reason category of the short term escalation. You can modify the comments pertaining to the escalation of the work units.

4 Select a short term escalation in the multiline of the “Select Short Term Escalation ” page.

The system displays the “Edit Short term Escalation Details” page.

4 Use the “Edit  Short term Escalation Details” page, to modify the short term escalation details for the selected work unit.

Modify the escalation limits for a work unit

You can modify the escalation limits for a work unit. You can modify the time-based escalation limits and usage-based escalation limits. The work unit is escalated, based on the escalation values specified here.

4 Select a work unit in the multiline of the “Edit Short Term Escalation Limits Details” page.

4Select the “Edit Limits” link at the bottom of the page.

The system displays the “Edit Short Term Escalation Limits” page.

4 Use the “Edit Schedules Information” page, to modify the calendar-based and the parameter-based escalation limits for the tasks.
