The “Process Task Compliance Follow up Requirements” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date & Time Format

The format in which the date and time appears in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

Maint. Object

Use the drop-down list box to select the maintenance object for which you want to retrieve the details. The combo is loaded with options “Blank”, “Aircraft Reg #”, “Part/Serial #”, “Component #”, “Aircraft Model”, “Attached Aircraft Reg #” and “Attached Component #” and "Nose #". The system defaults with “Blank” on page launch.

Note: When “Part/Serial #” is selected in the “Maint. Object” combo, then an additional text box is enabled adjacent to the existing available text box.

Search On

Use the drop-down list box to select the entity based on which you want to retrieve the details. The combo is loaded with values “Task #”, “Task Description”, “Task Type”, “Task Category”, “Eng. Doc. #”, “Eng. Doc. Type” and “Customer #”. The system defaults with “Task #” on page launch.

Execution Doc #

The code identifying the execution document for which you want to retrieve the details.(Alphanumeric,15)

Follow-up Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the status for which you want to retrieve the details. The combo is loaded with values defined for the Quick Code type – Compliance Follow-Up status in the “Maintain Quick Codes” activity. The combo is loaded with quick codes which are in Active status. The combo is also loaded with “Pending” and blank. The system defaults with “Blank” on page launch.

Note: The system retrieves the earliest record, if multiple records exist with different schedules for a Task # - Forecast # - Instance # combination with “Follow-up Required' flag set as "Yes" in the Compliance History.

The system retrieves the details based on the values entered/selected in one or more than one filter criteria. Wild card search is also allowed. The system retrieves Tasks from the Compliance History for which “Follow-up Action Req.?" is set as 'Yes" and the "Follow-up status" as other than "Closed" when values are not entered in any of the filter conditions.

The system displays the following in the “Follow-up Task Compliance Details” multiline:

Aircraft Reg #

The registration number of the aircraft.

Part #

The part number of the aircraft.

Serial #

The serial number of the part.

Task #

The number identifying the task for which the follow-up is to be carried out.

Follow-up Instruction

The follow-up instruction of the task.

Follow-up Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the task. The combo is loaded with values defined for the Quick Code type – Compliance Follow-Up status in the “Maintain Quick Codes” activity. The combo is loaded with quick codes which are in Active status. The combo is also loaded with “Pending” and “Closed”. The system defaults with “Pending” on page launch.

Follow-up Action Details

The details of the follow-up action to be carried on task.(Alphanumeric,255)

Action By

The code identifying the person who carried out the follow-up action. This code should be a valid code defined in the Employee master.(Alphanumeric,20)

Action Date

The date on which the follow-up was done. This date should not be greater than the current server date.

Action Time

The time at which the follow-up was done. This time should not be greater than the current server time.

Note: If the “Action By” and “Action Date/Time” are not entered, then the system defaults the login user id in the “Action By” column and the current server date and time in the “Action Date” and “Action Time” columns respectively.

The system displays the following in the “Follow-up Task Compliance Details” multiline:

Compliance Date and Time

The compliance time and date of the task.

Exec. Comments

Any comments regarding the execution of the task.

Exec. Doc #

The number identifying the execution document of that task.

Exec. Document Type

The type of execution document.

Exec. Work Center

The work center where the task will be executed.

Exec. Station

The station of execution.

Eng. Doc. #

The number identifying the engineering document.

Eng. Doc. Rev. #

The revised number of the engineering document.

Eng. Doc. Type

The type of engineering document.

Task Desc.

The description of the task.

Task Rev. #

The revised number of the task.

A/c Model

The model of the aircraft.

Component #

The number identifying the component of the aircraft.

Last Modified By

The login ID of the user who last modified the task details.

Last Modified Date & Time

The date and time on which the task details was last modified.

Note: At least one row should be selected in the multiline for processing. The “Follow-up Action Details” column should not be blank for the selected rows.

The system performs the following.

Updates the compliance details for the task in the Compliance History. Resets the Follow-up Req? to "No" for a task if you have specified the Follow-up Status as "Closed". When multiple tasks exist with the same Task # - Forecast # - Instance # combination having different schedules i.e. Date based and Usage based, the Follow-up Req? for each of these tasks is set to “No” even if the Follow-up status for one amongst such tasks is selected as “Closed” in the “Follow-up Task Compliance Details” multiline:
