Confirming or canceling the visit packages
This page allows you to confirm or cancel the allocation of a visit package to an execution center. Tell me more
Select the “Confirm Visit Allocations” link under the “Compliance Tracking & Control” business component.
The “Confirm Allocations” page appears.
The system displays the following field:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:
Aircraft Reg. # |
The registration number of the aircraft (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves visit packages that are in the “Draft” status, associated with the aircraft specified here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the visit packages in the “Draft” status, irrespective of the aircraft to which they are attached. |
Visit Package # |
The number identifying the visit package (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the visit packages that are similar to the value specified here and which are in the “Draft” status. Leave this field blank to search for all the visit packages in the “Draft” status. |
Grounding Date: From |
The starting date, in the range of grounding dates of the aircraft, from which you need to retrieve the visit packages (Date Format). The system retrieves all the visit packages for which the grounding date is later than or the same as the date entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the visit packages in the “Draft” status, irrespective of the starting grounding date. |
Grounding Date: To |
The ending date, in the range of grounding dates of the aircraft, till which you need to retrieve the visit packages (Date Format). The system retrieves all the visit packages for which the grounding date is earlier than or the same as the date entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the visit packages in the “Draft” status, irrespective of the ending grounding date. |
Note: If both the date fields are entered, the ending grounding date should be later than the starting grounding date.
Execution Unit |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the organization unit to which the visit package is allocated. The system retrieves all the visit packages in the “Draft” status that are associated with the execution unit specified here. Leave this field blank to search for the visit packages in the “Draft” status, irrespective of the execution unit. |
Visit Category |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the category of the visit package. The system lists all the visit categories, which are defined in the “Create Visit Category” activity of the current business component and which are in the “Active” status. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the visit packages in the “Draft” status, irrespective of the category of the visit package. |
Primary Work Center # |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the location of maintenance execution with which the visit package is associated. |
The system retrieves all the visit packages in the “Draft” status that are associated with the primary work center specified here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the visit packages in the “Draft” status, irrespective of the primary work centers with which the visit packages are associated. |
Note: Leave all the fields blank, to retrieve all the visit packages in the “Draft” status.
Click the “Search” pushbutton, to search for the visit packages in the “Draft” status, based on the search criteria.
The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline:

Select the hyperlinked visit package number to modify the visit package details.
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to select the visit package for confirmation or cancellation.
Enter the following field:
Select All |
Check this box, if you wish to select all the visit packages displayed in the multiline. |
Confirming the allocation of a visit package to an execution center
Click the “Confirm Allocations” pushbutton, to confirm the allocations of the selected visit packages to the allotted execution centers.
Note: This action is workflow-enabled. Notification messages can be sent as per the settings you have defined in the "Workflow Management" business component.
On confirming the allocation of a visit package to an execution center, the system changes the status of the visit package from “Draft” to “Fresh”. You can release a visit package in the “Fresh” status to a visit planner.
Canceling the allocation of a visit package to an execution center
Click the “Cancel Allocations” pushbutton, to cancel the allocations of the selected visit packages from the allotted execution centers.
Note: This action is workflow-enabled. Notification messages can be sent as per the settings you have defined in the "Workflow Management" business component.
On canceling the allocation of a visit package to an execution center, the system changes the status of the visit package from “Draft” to “Canceled”, and the job status of the work units in the visit package is changed to “Pending”.
To view the workload of the execution center
Select the “View Execution Center Load” link at the bottom of the page to view the workload of an execution center, before confirming the allocation of the visit package to that execution center.
To modify visit package information
Select the “Revise Allocations” link at the bottom of the page to modify the visit package information, before confirming the allocation of the visit package to an execution center.
Confirm or cancel visit package allocations in bulk
Confirm or cancel visit package allocations in bulk
You can select all the visit packages displayed in the multiline at one go, instead of selecting individual visit packages, for processing. This feature is useful when the system displays a large number of visit packages and you need to select all of them to either confirm or cancel them.
Check the “Select All” box, to select all the visit packages displayed in the multiline.
Click the “Confirm Allocations” pushbutton, to confirm all the allocations.
Click the “Cancel Allocations” pushbutton, to cancel all the allocations.
Confirming or canceling allocation of the visit packages to an execution center – An overview
This page allows you to confirm or cancel the allocation of a visit package to an execution center. You can search for and select the visit packages, which are in the “Draft” status. You can search for a visit package by specifying the aircraft registration number, visit package number, range of grounding dates of the visit packages, execution unit, visit category of the visit package and the primary work center. The system retrieves the visit packages, which are in the “Draft” status.
