Confirm Visit Allocations – A summary of the activity

The “Confirm Visit Allocations” activity allows you to confirm the allocation of a visit package to an execution center. The planner confirms the allocation after assessing all the planned visit packages that are in the “Draft” status. On confirming the allocations, the status of the visit package is changed to “Fresh” and the visit package is released and available in the respective locations

This activity also enables you to cancel visit packages, which are in the “Draft” status. Once canceled, the status of the visit package is changed to “Canceled” and the status of the work units in the visit package is changed to “Pending”.

You can also view the workload information of an execution center. This helps you to analyze the workload pattern in an execution center before allocating a visit package to it. You can modify the visit package details, in this activity, before allocating it to an execution center.

Confirm or cancel a visit package allocated to an execution center

You can confirm or cancel a visit package allocated to an execution unit. On confirming the allocation, the system changes the status of the visit package from “Draft” to “Fresh”. On confirming, the visit package is released and is available to the visit planner for further planning. On canceling the allocation, the status of the visit package is changed from “Draft” to  “Canceled”.

• Search for and select the visit package in the “Confirm Allocations” page.

• Click the “Confirm Allocations” pushbutton, to confirm the allocation of the selected visit packages to the execution unit for the specified aircraft.

• Click the “Cancel Allocations” pushbutton, to cancel the allocations of the selected visit packages to the execution unit for the specified aircraft.

View workload information of an execution center

• Search for and select the execution center in the “Confirm Allocations” page.

• Go to the “View Execution Center Load” page to view the workload information.
