In this page, you can create a deferment request for a selected work unit(s).

The “Create Reason Category Details” page appears.

Reason Category

The unique identifier of the reason category (Alphanumeric, 25). Mandatory. This field can be a combination of characters and digits. Ensure that the category is unique for  the organizational unit.

Description

The textual description of the category (Alphanumeric, 80). Mandatory

Note:Note: The system creates the reason categories and sets the status as “Active". The system stores the name of the login user. It stores the current server date as the “Created Date”.

Create different reason categories for deferring maintenance activities

You can create different reason categories by assigning a unique number and description to it. These are later used to classify the reasons for deferring work units.
