Create Reason Category – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to create reasons for deferring a maintenance activity on an aircraft or a component. Maintenance activity can be deferred due to various reasons such as resource constraints and non-availability of maintenance personnel.

The “Create Reason Category Details” page enables you to categorize the reasons for deferring a maintenance activity. Each reason is identified with a unique code and a description. The system stores the reasons for deferral and sets the status as “Active”.
