Recording order execution comments

Select the “Record Order Execution Comments” link under the “Capacity Planning” business component.

The "Record Order Execution Comments" page appears.

The system displays the following in the “Execution Comments” group box:

Customer Order #	The identification number of the customer order, as selected in the “Plan Capacity” page.
Amendment #	The amendment number for the customer order.
Aircraft Reg #	The aircraft registration number, if the maintenance object is an aircraft as selected in the “Plan Capacity” page.
Component #	The component identification number, if the maintenance object is a component as selected in the “Plan Capacity” page.

Enter the following in the “Execution Comments” group box.

Conflict Resolution Type	Use the drop-down list box to specify the execution strategy for customer order / maintenance object as selected in the “Plan Capacity” page. The system displays the active values defined under quick code type “Conflict Resolution Type” defined in the 'Maintain Quick Codes” activity of the Central Planning business component.
Planning Status	Use the drop-down list box to specify the planning status of the customer order / maintenance object as selected in the “Plan Capacity” page. The system displays the active values defined under quick code type “Planning Status” defined in the “Maintain Quick Codes'” activity of the Central Planning business component, with which the current component interaction is defined.
Execution Strategy	Use the drop-down list box to specify the execution strategy for customer order / maintenance object as selected in the “Plan Capacity” page. The system displays the following values: "Alternate Work Center", "Overtime", "Skill Movement", "External Repair” and, "Not Required".
Scheduling	Any additional or detailed information on the schedule for execution of the customer order / maintenance object.
Material Availability	Any additional or detailed information on the availability of parts for execution of the customer order / maintenance object.
Assignment Planning Comments	Any remarks or additional information on schedule / plan of the maintenance job.
Execution Planning Comments	Any remarks or additional information on execution of the maintenance job.

Enter the following in the “Document Attachment Details” group box.

File Name

The name of the document pertinent to the customer order execution.

Help facility available.

Select the “View File” link to see the details of the document.

Select the “Record Order Execution Comments” pushbutton.

Page Overview

You can use this page to record your comments or facts pertinent to the execution of the customer order or maintenance object that you selected in the “Plan Capacity” page. This gives a valuable insight into the actual execution of the maintenance job for any future reference and help in planning and scheduling.

Before the actual maintenance job begins, the execution is planned and scheduled using the Plan Capacity activity so that any facility or skill bottlenecks are resolved, if any. This leads to optimum utilization of resources and minimized equipment grounding leading to greater operational efficiency.
