Edit Buyer Group – A summary of the activity
The “Edit Buyer Group” activity allows you to modify the details of buyer groups that are already defined in the ”Create Buyer Group” activity. The ”Select Buyer Group” page allows you to specify the search criteria and select the buyer group that you need to modify.
You can add new buyers to an active buyer group in the “Edit Buyer Group” page. Buyers will automatically inherit the rights to procure materials that are mapped to buyer groups to which they are associated.
This page also helps you to change the status of the buyer group from “Active” to “Inactive” or vice versa. Buyer groups in “Inactive” status will not be available for materials procurement. This activity also allows you modify part type, part category and document mapping.
