The “Maintain Part Account Group” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

Part Account Group

A unique code identifying the part account group (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter this code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the part groups whose code similar to the value entered here. Leave this field blank to search for all part groups irrespective of the group code.

Note: Only those account groups created in the current login OU can be modified.

Status

Use the drop-down list box to select status of the part account groups that are to be retrieved. The system displays the options “Active” or "In active", or leaves the field blank.

The system leaves the field blank by default..

Account Group Description

A textual description of the account group (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter this description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the groups whose description similar to the value entered here. Leave this field blank to search for all groups irrespective of the group description.

Part Account Group

A unique code identifying the account group under which the part is to be grouped (Alphanumeric, 20). Mandatory

Account Group Description

A textual description of the account group (Alphanumeric, 60). Mandatory

Status

Use the drop-down list box to select status of the part account groups that are to be retrieved. The system displays the options "Active” and “Inactive”.

Note: You cannot inactivate the account groups that are associated with other parts.

Created By

The name of the person who created the account group.

Created Date

The date on which the account group is was created.

Last Modified By

The login id ID of the employee who last modified the account group.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the account group was last modified.

Note: The multiline should contain at least one part account group detail.

In this page you can create, modify the details or activate/inactivate part account group.

You can enter the part account group, description and status, if the part group is being created for the first time. You can search for an existing account group and modify the part account group, description and status. You can search for an existing account group and inactivate the selected part account groups. The system saves the login ID of the user and the date of creation along with the modification details.
