Finance Posting of Entity Based Book Information

The “Entity Based Posting Book Information” tab page appears by default, on launch of the “Set Posting Finance Books” page.

Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box:

Event

Use the drop-down list box to specify the event identified for the finance book postings at entity level. The system lists the following values if the “Entity Based Posting Finance Books for Expense Accounting” is set to “Yes”:

All the events that are in interaction with the “Account Group” business component
All events for which entity information has already been set
All

If the “Entity Based Posting Finance Books for Expense Accounting” is set to “No” or left blank, the system displays the value “All”.

The system defaults the field with “All”.

Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the entity based book information

The system displays multiline details only if the “Entity Based Posting Finance Books for Expense Accounting” is set to “Yes”.

The following fields are displayed in the multiline:

Org Unit	The organizational unit of the event displayed.
Event	The event identified for the finance book postings. The system displays all events that are interacting with the Account Group business component.
Entity	All the Applicable entities for the company for identification of Finance Books. Entity can be Aircraft, Work Center and so on.

Enter the following field in the multiline:

Applicable?

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether an entity is applicable.

Yes – Indicates that the entity is applicable.
No – Indicates that the entity is not applicable.

This is a mandatory field if the parameter “Entity Based Posting Finance Books for Expense Accounting” is set as “Yes”.

The system leaves the field blank by default.

Priority

Indicate the priority for both event and entity finance book postings.

This is a mandatory field if the parameter “Entity Based Posting Finance Books for Expense Accounting” is set as “Yes” & the “Applicability?” for the Entity is set as ‘Yes’.

The system leaves this field blank if applicability is set to “No’..

To proceed, carry out the following:

Select the “Event Based Posting Book Information” tab to set finance postings at entity level.
